Adam stood frozen, his expression shifting rapidly. Finally, a strained smile, more akin to a grimace, appeared on his face. After several attempts, he managed to speak.
“Lanie, who are these actors? This is terrible acting. Don’t lie to us.” He couldn’t believe it, even with the blood bond rings and certificate right in front of him. She hadn’t expected to see them so soon. But she was done
with them.
“He’s not an actor. You’re seeing things. I’m blood–bonded.” She said casually, waving the blood bond certificate in their faces.
Zoe Jackson, calmly standing beside her, gave a polite nod.
“Greetings. I am Lanie’s mate, Zoe Jackson.” His light amber eyes, glancing at Benjamin and Adam, held a subtle air of superiority.
His wolf, a Warrior Wolf, radiated power,

silent warning to the two Betas.
Benjamin’s pupils constricted, a surge of anger ignited within him. He suppressed his emotions, his voice strained, his gaze fixed on Lanie.“Lanie, stop this. Are you jealous? This isn’t real. You need to annul this blood bond. You must have been impulsive.” He reached for her hand, intending to pull her
away.
Adam tried to separate Zoe Jackson from her.“Mr. Jackson, why are you blood–bonding with Lanie? Do you understand her? Do you know all her preferences? Her quirks? Do you love her?” He yelled, putting a hand on Zoe Jackson’s shoulder.

Zoe Jackson effortlessly evaded Adam’s grasp, unfazed by his outburst.“Mr. Adam, Lanie and I can build our relationship. A marriage of convenience that blossoms into love isn’t unheard of. But you and Mr. Benjamin haven’t sorted out your own situation. You’re still entangled with Qiana. So, what makes you think you can compete with me?” He brushed his shoulder, as if disgusted by Adam’s touch.
At the mention of Qiana, Benjamin and Adam hesitated.
“We… we just feel sorry for Qiana. Nothing more,” Adam stammered.
Lanie pulled away from Benjamin, standing next to Zoe Jackson.“Enough, Benjamin, Adam. You don’t need to explain. From the moment I left Los Angeles, we were no longer in a relationship. Whether you like Qiana or not is none of my business. Don’t contact me again. The Sunstone Pack isn’t your territory,”
Zoe Jackson snapped his fingers. A line of uniformed bodyguards appeared.
Take them away. Send them back to Los Angeles. Make sure they don’t return.
Her silence was her consent. Adam couldn’t believe it. He struggled, his eyes wide with frantic energy. “Lanie! You can’t do this! Let’s go back to Los Angeles. We’ll be good to you. We can go back to how things were, can’t we? His Guardian Wolf, usually so calm, was frantic, desperate.
