Chapter 93
After dropping Amber off at home, Sienna changed her clothes and headed to the Preston residence to find Nora. The servant informed her that Nora had gone to the cemetery to pay respects to a friend.
Sienna had a pretty good idea who that friend might be.
“Take me to the cemetery, Sienna instructed.
“Yes, Miss Enna,” Lana replied respectfully.
Meanwhile, at the cemetery, Nora wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes as she murmured, “Enna, I’ve decided to get a divorce. You were right.
“Ive always been too indecisive, too hesitant. This time, I’m settling every last thing, clean and final. Watch over me from down there and make sure everything goes smoothly.”
Just as Nora finished speaking, a voice suddenly called out, “No need to watch over you. I’ll help you.”
Nora froze for a moment. She didn’t even suspect someone was actually talking to her; she chalked it up to her mind playing tricks. She said. “Enna, you’re so sweet, but you can’t just go around killing someone for me.
“Ghosts can get away with murder, but what if this lands you straight in hell? Then it would be all my fault. I can’t drag you down with me. Besides, Ethan doesn’t deserve to die.”
Sienna stood behind Nora, listening to her words, thinking she was both naive and ridiculous.
“Nora, I’m not a ghost. I’m not dead,” Sienna said.
Nora suddenly felt a wave of fear wash over her. She glanced around nervously. The sky was getting dark, and the whole cemetery was starting to look super creepy.
“Enna, please don’t freak me out. I’ve always been a total coward. If you have any grievances, can’t you just visit me in a dream tonight? Don’t say stuff like that here. I can’t take it,” Nora pleaded.
Even though losing her friend had hurt like hell, and Nora still missed Sienna after all these years, seeing a ghost was the last thing Nora wanted.
‘Seriously?‘ Sienna thought to herself, completely speechless.
“Hi, Miss Sinclair,” Lana called out.
Nora whipped around at the unfamiliar voice and saw a tall, blonde, blue–eyed woman in a suit, clearly not from around here.
“Who are you?” Nora asked, genuinely curious. She had no idea who this woman was.
Lana slowly stepped aside, and suddenly, Sienna appeared right in front of her. Nora’s pupils dilated in shock, her mind going completely blank. The world faded away, leaving only Sienna standing before Nora.
Nora’s heart pounded wildly, her eyes wide as saucers. Nora jolted. She pointed at Sienna, and then she just collapsed on the spot.
“Nora, are you fine?” Sienna rushed forward, catching her before she hit the ground, and quickly pressed the spot under her nose to try to wake her
- up.
“Nora, don’t be scared. It’s me. I’m not dead,” Sienna said softly.
Nora slowly regained consciousness, blinking up at the woman standing over her.
“Enna? Nora thought in shock. ‘Did I just see Enna’s ghost? Am I just imagining things?”
“Nora, let’s talk somewhere else. I’m alive. I’m not a ghost. If you don’t believe me, you can touch me and see for yourself,” Sienna said softly.
Nora immediately jumped out of Sienna’s arms, backing away several feet. She stared at Sienna in utter shock. Her eyes were wide as she scanned her from head to toe, over and over, completely dumbfounded.
“W–Why-” Nora stammered. The blow was just too much, and her brain just couldn’t process it all at once.
Hesitantly, Nora reached out and poked Sienna’s cheek. It was soft, and even a little warm. After poking her face, Nora gave it a gentle pinch, then touched her arm. Sienna was real.
‘Sienna’s alive. Nora’s mind screamed. ‘Am I just hallucinating because I missed her so much?‘

Smack. Nora slapped herself across the face, then yelped, “Ow, that really hurts
Nora spun around in circles, rubbing her eyes, and looked again. Yep, it was still her. She asked in a trembling voice, “Enna?”
“It’s me.” Sienna gave a gentle smile. “Really, it’s me. No need to doubt it. I’m not dead. I’m back.”
Nora’s eyes widened in shock as she glanced back at the cemetery. “Enna, did you just step down from heaven?*
Sienna was speechless. She walked over and flicked Nora on the forehead. “Ouch, that hurts.” Nora yelped.
Sienna grabbed her hand. “See? If you can feel pain, then you know I’m not a ghost. Let’s talk somewhere else.”
This place is seriously bad luck, Sienna thought, glancing at the piles of white lilies, her lips twitching, “You really buy so many flowers for me every year?
Nora replied truthfully, still looking dazed and clearly thinking she was just imagining all of this
Nora explained. “Of course not. Enna. Relax. I bought tenfold this many for you every year, and it’s always the fanciest kind. Every time, I toss trillions your way, so you’ll never run out. Seriously, if you ever run low, just let me know and I’ll buy some more.”
Both Sienna and Lana were at a total loss. Lana wondered, ‘Is Miss Sinclair always this extra?‘
Sienna pulled her into the car. “Nora, snap out of it. I’m not dead. I’m back.”
Nora stared at her in a daze. “Enna, just tell me what you need. I’ll buy it for you, no problem.”
Sienna reached out and smacked her on the forehead. “Ouch, that hurts,” Nora yelped again.
The sharp pain finally jolted Nora awake. She stared at the very real, flesh–and–blood person standing in front of her, her eyes finally focusing.
“Enna, please tell me this isn’t just my imagination, okay? Or did you seriously crawl out of your grave? Don’t freak me out. I’m super easily spooked.” Nora sounded absolutely pitiful.
“Nora. I’m not dead, and I didn’t crawl out of a grave, okay?” Sienna said, exasperated.
Nora blinked innocently. “Then what are you doing here at the cemetery?”
“I came here to find you.” Sienna replied, at a loss for words.
Nora patted Sienna on the shoulder, putting on a serious face. “Well, thanks for making the trip just to see me. So, are you heading back now, or do you need me to get an angel to send you off?”
Lana couldn’t help but snort with laughter, while Sienna closed her eyes, pressed a hand to her forehead, and shook her head helplessly.
“Nora, you are just unbelievable,” Sienna muttered. Even the always–cool lady couldn’t keep it together anymore.
“So, where are we going? Is this your car? Do you drive a Maybach in heaven, too?” Nora asked, still totally clueless.
Sienna seriously thought she might need to take Nora to the hospital to get her brain checked.
“Miss Sinclair, Miss Enna didn’t die. She survived the plane crash all those years ago. In fact, she was the one who drove you home last night,” Lana explained.
Lana’s words hit Nora like a ton of bricks. She blinked a few times, studying the woman in front of her, then reached out and gently cupped her face.
Sienna didn’t resist. She just let Nora turn her head this way and that, examining her closely.
Nora’s eyes grew red–rimmed, her vision blurring with tears as they welled up. She started trembling uncontrollably.
Sienna reached out to wipe her tears, but Nora suddenly shouted, “Don’t move. Don’t you dare inove.”
Sienna quietly pulled her hand back, and the car fell into a heavy silence. Nora just kept checking again and again, trying to make sure Sienna was really real.
Nora scrutinized every detail, making sure Sienna’s blood was flowing, her body was warm, and that she wasn’t dreaming or just hallucinating all of
this.
Finally, Nora just threw herself into Sienna’s arms, clinging to her, and then she just broke down, bawling her eyes out.
“Sienna, you freaking messed with me. Shit, damn it, holy crap. You’re actually alive. You’re really, really alive. Still breathing, not dead,” she wailed.

Sienna soothingly stroked her back. “Yeah, I’m not dead.”
For ten years, she’d been alive, but it was no different from being dead. She’d lost all her memories. For ten whole years, she’d lived as Hazel Noir.
Half an hour later, Nora finally calmed down. She fixed Sienna with a serious look and demanded, “Alright, spill everything. Don’t leave out a single word.
“What happened to you these past ten years? Did you get married? Was it to some foreign guy? Do you have kids? When did you tie the knot? Did he chase after you, or did you go after him?”
