I had anticipated this, but I never expected it to happen so quickly. Beta Scout turned out to be even more of an asshole than I had imagined, falling right into the trap i had set for him.
Honestly. I had feared that he might change after finding his mate to be Embry due to her close relation with me through Lovette, but it seemed that he was still the same old asshusle as before.
However, there were a few things that needed to be addressed, particularly between Embry and Raul. While I wanted them to be together, I didn’t want it to be a hasty decision.

Embry tensed, and I understood her concern. Why would they need to talk in his room when they weren’t in a relationship?
“I mean, anywhere else but your room,” Embry insisted firmly, a smile forming on my lips.
Raul looked at me once more, seemingly weighing his options. “Alright, let’s take a walk around the pack,” he suggested, but Lovette interjected.
“I think both of you need to rest after all the stress from yesterday. The two of us will leave you alone, and Embry, you can rest in one of the guest room. We can talk more when I wake up. Lovette yawned.
From my research, she needed a lot of rest, especially during the first trimester. It was evident that she found it easier when we were together, based on my observations
“Since you are staying here for an unknown duration. I suppose I will return to our pack, Raul can bring you when you are ready,” Cassius mentioned, reminding us of his presence.
I had momentarily forgotten about his presence and appreciated the reminder.
However, nobody objected, and it was apparent that Embry had no intention of returning to her pack anytime soon, which evoked mixed feelings

Raul and Embry sat facing each other over breakfast. I remembered Lovette hadn’t eaten either, so I decided to order the chef to bring us breakfast after hearing the conversation. The delay in the food arrangement allowed us to listen and watch from the beginning
“Look. I’m very sorry for kissing and dragging you into my mess, I didn’t mean to,” Embry said, noticing an unsettled look in Raul’s eyes, but he forced a smile in response.
“I know, but I meant what I said. I understand that because of the bond, you would never consider me. However, I’ll be here whenever you need a shoulder to lean on Raul said, impressing Lovette.
Your bela seems like a fine gentleman,” she remarked,
agreed, “I guess.” Raul and Embry engaged in casual conversation, laughing throughout, and Lovette was seemingly mesmerized by it all

Shaking my head. I mind–linked my chef to bring her food and was amazed by her response;

That was unexpected, but I was impressed and also afraid. The packs thought we were going to merge and were already acting like members of both packs.

By the time I came out, she was already eating happily, making me feel full just by looking at her caring.

“Didn’t anyone teach you not to speak with your mouth full? I made sure not to mention her parents to avoid saddening her.
She looked adorable with her mouth full, and I loved how comfortable and carefree she was around me.
