Chapter 49
Melissa surely knew how to fight back with the same coin.
Hannah’s face turned pale as she saw the phone almost shoved in her face. “No videos, please!”
Today had already been humiliating and embarrassing enough for her. It absolutely couldn’t be spread out
“You can, why can’t 17” Melissa’s smile was gentle and sincere.
“I delete it. Right away! Melissa, I’ve already deleted it. Please don’t take a video…” Hannah was practically begging. She grabbed her phone hurriedly and deleted the video she shot.
Her marriage was the most enviable among all her classmates, and she was once so proud of her status as Mrs. Wallaker. If anyone saw her being, humiliated like this, she would never be able to hold her head up for the rest of her life.
Melissa frowned as she looked at Hannah on the phone screen, pressing. “Deleting it doesn’t make it never happened, does it? Stop dragging your feet! Are you drinking or not? Do you need Mr. Moore to feed you?”
Bradley, standing to the side, only felt relieved that he had declined Samuel’s suggestion to bring Curtis to the club today. If that liule brat saw Melissa in such a fierce state, his jaw might drop.
Though reluctant, Hannah had to pick up the wine bottle. Filled with hatred, she vowed inwardly that she would repay tonight’s humiliation a millonfold to Melissa one day,
After drinking only about half a bottle, she couldn’t swallow another drop and set down the bottle.
Melissa, engrossed in recording videos, urged, ‘Don’t stop now. The wine is expensive. You can’t waste it
Hannah had no choice but to pick up the bottle again. After a few more swallows, she rushed to the bathroom, covering her mouth, barely managing to close the door before collapsing over the toller and vomiting in disarray.
“How boring, can’t even finish a bottle of wine” Melissa poured, letting out a sigh
She was getting increasingly tipsy, her eyelids growing heavy
Seeing her weary face, Bradley thought she must have let off steam and asked, “Are you satisfied now?”
“She hasn’t apologized to me yet” Melissa stared at the bathroom door.
“If she apologizes, will this be seuled?”
Melissa only wanted to repay what she had suffered instead of escalating the situation. She nodded. “Sure.”
Hugh was also eager for all this to end as soon as possible. It wasn’t until today that he regretted marrying Hannah. If it weren’t for Hannah trying to mess with Melissa, he wouldn’t have offended Bradley.
He dragged Hannah out of the bathroom, where she had almost vomited her guts out, his voice icy. “Apologize to Melissal
Hannah stared at him in disbelief, shouting, Tve already drunk the wine. What does the want now? Can’t you see she’s messing with me? I’m your wife. What do you mean by siding with her?!”
Hugh gripped her arm Bercely and repeated, “If you don’t want a divorce, apologizel”
It was the first time Hugh looked at her with such cold eyes and the first time he said such harsh words
Hannah knew very well that without the Wallaker family, she would be nothing. Divgare was out of the question. She shivered, her eyes seeming about to burst into flammes as she stared at Melissa
After a long while, she managed to force out a few words. “Melissa, I’m sorry!”
Melissa nodded in satisfaction, stopped the video recording, and put away her phone. “Don’t be a bitch next time, got it!”
“Opt it! Every word!” Hannah’s voice almost squeezed through her teeth,
After a yawn, Melissa added. “Well then, I should go home to sleep
“Mr. Moore, what do you think…” Hugh looked at Bradley, quite awkward.
“Since she’s not pursuing it, then let it go.” Bradley stood up,
