Chapter 108
Sienna glanced down at her phone. “No need. They can’t cause any trouble. Have all the surveillance cameras in the area where Jocelyn lives been destroyed?”
“Yes, Miss Enna. No one will know where Jocelyn is,” Lana replied.
She stole a glance at Sienna in the backseat. She still didn’t know why Winifred wanted to kidnap Jocelyn, but with Miss Enna pulling the strings, they could handle anything–even if the sky fell.
Halfway down the road, a car suddenly shot out and blocked their path, forcing them to a screeching halt.
Lana’s hand went straight to her weapon, but Sienna stopped her with a look, her voice cool. “It’s someone we know.”
With that, Sienna fell silent and waited. The car door opened, and a man stepped out–it was Ethan.
He leaned close to the window. “Enna, can we talk? I’m begging you, give me a chance.”
Desperation etched into his face. Everything that had happened these past few days had him completely on edge. If this kept up, he was going lose Nora.
to
Everyone knew Nora never listened to her own parents, but when it came to Sienna, Nora obeyed without question. Ethan had tried to see her, but every attempt ended with him being turned away.
This was his last resort–blocking Sienna’s car.
Sienna’s expression didn’t waver. Her tone was as calm as ever. “Ethan, this is between you and your wife. I have no right to interfere.”
“If Nora wants a divorce, nothing I say will change her mind.”
“Enna, I know I screwed up. I was a jerk, but I’ve changed. I want to fix things with Nora. We have a son, Enna. Come on, you wouldn’t want to see our family fall apart, would you?” Ethan pleaded.
It had only been a few days, but Ethan already looked like a wreck. The once high–and–mighty CEO was now reduced to groveling at the car window, practically begging.
Sienna opened her mouth to reply–but before she could speak, Ethan was suddenly sent sprawling to the ground by a swift kick.
Nora strode up, clad in a form–fitting purple–black dress, a fan in one hand.
“Enna, are you alright?” she snapped, her eyes blazing. “You damn bastard! How dare you mess with Enna? You must have a death wish! Forget the cooling–off period, we’re finalizing this divorce today.”
She shot Ethan a fierce, murderous glare.
“Nora, please,” Ethan choked, reaching out to her. “Let’s not get divorced. I’m begging you, don’t leave me or our son. I know I was wrong.”
His bloodshot eyes brimmed with desperation.
Nora let out a cold, scornful laugh. “Let me make this clear–I’m leaving you. And my son has nothing to do with you. If you want a kid so badly, find someone else to have one with.”
She ground her heel into his shoe before sliding into the car and grabbing Sienna’s arm. Rolling her eyes, she rolled up the window and snapped, ‘Drive! Smash right through him!”
Sienna nodded, and Lana floored the gas pedal, ramming the Rolls–Royce aside and speeding off.
Ethan stood there, defeated, then pulled out his phone. “Jason, come out for a drink.”
“Nope. I’m not your emotional dumpster,” Jason shot back.
Ethan wayara loss for words.
Sheryl had just finished bragging to her mother about her latest scheme. She sprawled on the sofa, legs crossed, idly scrolling through her phone Hart Corporation? They’re nothing. I could wipe them out without even trying, she thought, full of herself.
Jast then, her phone buzzed with a new message. (Cancel your plan within ten minutes. Mess with Hart Corporation and you’re dead.)
Felicia scoffed, rolling her eyes She quickly typed back. [Scram.)

Winifred read the reply and smirked. Not surprised. She glanced down at Jocelyn, who was lying on the floor, unconscious and soaked in her own urine. Raising an eyebrow, Winifred grabbed her laptop and headed inside.
She pulled out a chair and sat down. A small, jet–black snake slithered out from her sleeve, its round head nuzzling against her fingers.
Winifred gently stroked its head, then gestured for it to go away. The snake obediently slithered off to a corner, coiling itself into a tight spiral and settling down to sleep.
Winifred’s fingers flew across the keyboard. Within minutes, Felicia’s scandals exploded online, flooding every corner of the web without end.
Back then, Winifred didn’t care if the Hart Corporation lived or died, but now, if anyone was going to bring them down, it would be her. No one else.
Once she was done, Winifred stepped outside and told her guys to wake Jocelyn up. The moment Jocelyn saw Winifred, she started trembling all/ over, shrinking back in terror, but there was nowhere left for her to run.
“Winifred! Y–You lunatic! Let me go right now, or my mom will make you pay! Do you hear me? Let me go, now!” Jocelyn screamed, her voice cracking.
Winifred slammed her foot down on Jocelyn’s face, pinning her to the floor. “Jocelyn, you really are insufferably loud. Didn’t my little ‘lucky charm‘ scare you enough? Don’t worry. I’ve got plenty more treasures to keep you company.”
With that, one of her men dumped out a huge bucket of tiny snakes, their tongues flicking as they slithered menacingly toward Jocelyn.
“Ah! Get them away! Stay away from me!”
“Winifred, you psycho! You absolute psycho! Ah! Don’t come near me!” Jocelyn shrieked, her voice raw with terror.
