Chapter 144
Nora snuggled up to Sienna feeling incredibly happy. “Enna, let’s go out for drinks, okay?” she said, her voice full of excitement.
Sienna glanced down at her with a teasing smile. Trying to drink your troubles away?”
Nora shook her head, giving Sienna a playful look. “Nope, not at all. That loser isn’t even worth a single drop of my booze. I just want to call in a few hot gigolos”
Sienna was left speechless, totally thrown off by Nora’s shamelessness.
Half an hour later, they arrived at the entrance of Charmvale. Nora bounced with excitement and said. “Enna, you’re the best!”
Meanwhile, Ryan saw Sienna walking into the bar and went back to tell Winifred. Winifred scoffed and rolled her eyes. “What does it have to do with me? Ryan, I’ve told you before, I have nothing to do with her. I don’t want to hear anything about her.
Ryan nodded, getting the message. “Got it, Winifred.”
Winifred snored, her tone indifferent. “What are they doing at Charmvale!”
Ryan fell silent
Inside. Nora sprawled on the sofa, arms outstretched, a playful smirk on her pink lips. She looked like she totally owned the place tonight “Come here, handsome she teased, grinning mischievously
But just as she was about to shour, she spotted her brother, Wayne, standing at the entrance with an angry expression. The shock nearly sent her into a panic
“Oh my god, I must be seeing things! Enna, I swear I just saw my brother!” She squeezed her eyes shut, desperately hoping she was just seeing things.
Nora had always been the well–behaved one growing up, and now, for the first time ever, she got caught doing something like this.
Sienna, cool as ever, hit her with a reality check. “Nope, you’re not seeing things. That’s your brother:
Wayne walked over, his face cold. As one of Charmvale’s shareholders, he’d received a mess e from the manager that Nora was here, so he made sure someone was keeping an eye on her.
Whatever she did–calling for male models or whatever–was none of his concern. She wasn’t a child anymore, she was almost thirty, a grown woman. But he couldn’t accept her bringing Sienna along to mess around with men.
“Wayne, what are you doing here?” Nora stammered, nervously avoiding his eyes. Her heart raced, not understanding why he was so angry. Then, suddenly, everything clicked for Nora
“Wayne, wait, let me explain. Those guys, I just wanted them to come up and do a little talent show for us, that’s all. Enna and I were just sitting here, it was getting a little boring, so we thought we’d watch a performance or something.” Nora finished awkwardly.
Wayne’s gaze swept over the rows of gigolos, each one tall and good–looking. Then he glanced at Sienna, whose eyes were cold and indifferent, completely out of place in this chaotic atmosphere.
“Sienna, you too.” he started, his voice trailing off.
Sienna knew exactly what he meant, so she answered honestly, “Yeah, Nora brought me here. She said she wanted these guys to put on a talent
Wayne knew he had no right to question her, so he held back the sour feeling in his chest. “Sienna, let me join you for a drink. As for these guys, let’s have them leave for now. Nora, what do you think?”
Nora didn’t dare have any objections. “Alright, alright, you guys can go now. You’ll get your money, just talk to the manager.”
“Yes” the gigolos replied in unison, quickly making their exit.
Nora shivered, forcing a nervous smile, but Wayne didn’t even glance her way.
“Sienna, thanks for helping Nora out again tonight, Wayne said, his tone flat. “So if you ever need someone to run errails for you, just make her your gofer or whatever–don’t be shy?

“Nora’s my best friend,” Sienna replied coolly. “I heard you beat up Ethan, but you went too caxy on him. He still had the nerve to show up tonight.”
Wayne nodded, taking her words to hear. “You’re right. I should’ve hit him harder. I gave him too much of a break.”
