I smacked the bottle out of his hand.
“The pack healer already told me. This is a drug that suppresses perception. Long–term use leads to miscarriage.”
Liam shook his head wildly and stepped back. “No, that’s not possible. Eva said it was just to suppress your bond sensitivity.
“She said there were side effects, but it wouldn’t cause a miscarriage. At most, it would make you a bit weak. No, that’s not possible. That’s not possible.”
Looking at Liam’s pitiful attempt at remorse, I found it utterly laughable.
“I’m going to sever the mate bond with you. This is a notice, not a request.”

Liam stared at me in disbelief. “No. You love me so much. You would never do this.”
However, I had no interest in hearing any more of his apologies or regrets. I ordered someone to throw Liam out. I never wanted to see that disgusting face again.
After I settled into my new residence, I received a string of messages from members of the original pack.
“Lily! Where are you? Eva has completely messed up everything. We can’t manage anything at all right now.
“She doesn’t even understand the most basic management rules. I really don’t get why Alpha made her our Beta.”
The complaints continued to come one after another. But none of that had anything to do with me anymore. I didn’t respond to a single message.
I calmed myself and started to learn the affairs of the Howl of the Moon Pack gradually.
My father found me an assistant named Zach Earle. With his help, I had everything in the Howl smoothly within just one week.
