Iris’s face froze, and she quickly averted her eyes, feeling a guilty pang in her chest.

“Of course, I have proof. Il contact the doctors at the mental hospital right now and have them take you away.” Iris said.
Jacob didn’t show a hint of panic. “Alright then, I’ll just sit here and see if you can really have me taken away. But let me remind you, Iris. Whether you’re a person or a doctor, acting this viciously will get you nowhere.”

Jacob turned to Iris, who hadn’t expected the hospital director to show up, but she kept her cool and spoke steadily, “Mr. Thornton, I’m a doctor, and it’s my duty to be responsible for every patient.
