Chapter 250
“Sienna, I got you your favorite,” Vivian said, handing Sienna her drink and setting the other two cups on the stone bench nearby.
“Thanks, Vivian,” Sienna replied as she took it.
Sienna didn’t usually go for drinks, but she figured it was nice to have a treat every now and then.
Vivian flashed a gentle smile, moved Amber’s hand away, handed Sienna her drink, and squeezed herself in next to Sienna. Amber was about to lose it.

Vivian’s eyes flashed with a hint of smugness, but she quickly put on a wronged look as she complained to Sienna. “Sienna, I got her a cup out of kindness, just the way you said she likes it.

Now, Amber was the only one still holding out. She paused, a bit stunned. ‘Wait a second? Are they just leaving me out on purpose?‘ she wondered.
“Amber, you don’t like it?” Sienna asked.
Amber looked at the drink in everyone else’s hands. She was the only one not drinking. Aren’t I just making it obvious how I feel about Vivian?‘ she thought.
Grudgingly, she snatched the cup off the ground. “Yeah, I like it.”
“Sienna, look. There’s a place selling hot dogs across the street. Do you want some? I’ll go get it,” Vivian said.

Sienna nodded. “Get one for each of us, and don’t rush.” She remembered that Winifred and Amber both loved hot dogs.
“Sure. Vivian nodded.
Just as Amber was about to scoot over to Sienna, Winifred grabbed her and leaned in, whispering in her ear, “Vivian was totally targeting the two of us just now. Want to get back at her?”
Amber nodded innocently. “I do.”
“Airight, when she comes back, just say you don’t want any because it’s not sanitary. I’ll say the same. Let’s put Vivian in her place and see how awkward she gets,” Winifred said.
Amber nodded with relish, clearly excited. “Okay, I’ll do exactly what you said.”
Amber agreed so happily, and she didn’t even notice the playful look in Winifred’s eyes.
Before long, Vivian came back with the hot dogs. Sienna was sitting on a bench with the other two, waiting for her, taking in the beautiful scenery and fresh air, far from the noise of the city.

This time, Vivian personally set a pretty little box right in front of Amber. “Here, this one’s for you.”
Amber crossed her arms, turned her head away with a haughty snort, and said, “I’m not eating that. It doesn’t even look clean or safe. What if I get sick or something?”
Vivian’s face stiffened, and she rolled her eyes, clearly speechless. “Whatever, eat it or don’t. It’s yours.”
Vivian slid Winifred’s portion over to her. Amber felt a burst of glee inside, thinking, ‘Vivian, even Winifred isn’t eating it, either. How dare you push me away earlier? Hmph.

“Thanks,” Winifred said, grabbing the fork.

Amber was stunned, whipping her head around to stare at Winifred in disbelief. ‘What is she doing?‘ she wondered.
“It’s actually pretty good,” Winifred said as she took a bite.
Amber’s eyes went wide, totally losing it as she gaped at Winifred. “What are you doing? Winifred, you said you weren’t going to eat it.”
‘She totally tricked me,‘ Amber wondered. ‘How could Winifred do this to me?“How could Winifred do this to me?
Winifred put on a look of pure confusion. “What are you talking about? I have no idea what you mean”
It finally dawned on Amber that she’d just been completely played. Her eyes went red with frustration as she glared at Winifred, feeling utterly wronged. Meanwhile, Vivian had already snatched the hot dogs away from her spot.
‘Great, they all get to dig in, and I’m just left here smelling it,’ Amber thought, feeling even more left out.
Vivian glanced at Winifred, thinking, ‘Wow, she’s really got a cunning side.’
Amber’s cheeks burned, but she was way too embarrassed
admit she actually wanted some. She sat there stiff as a board, not knowing
what to do, feeling like she was the only one being left out of the group.
Amber’s nose started to tingle, and she suddenly felt like crying for no reason. But if she burst into tears now, it would just make her look pathetic in front of Sienna,
‘Winifred, you will regret it, Amber fumed inside, feeling both wronged and indignant.
“Go ahead, and have some,” Vivian said, pushing the box back in front of Amber.
Amber didn’t react. Her pride just wouldn’t let her reach out. She was the one who said she didn’t want it. ‘Now Vivian must be looking down on her for sure,’ she wondered.
“It’s really good. Give it a try,” Sienna said, spearing a piece and holding it up to Amber’s mouth.
Amber took a bite, and her eyes lit up instantly. The filling burst in her mouth, so delicious.
“Do you want some more?” Sienna asked her again.
Amber nodded quickly, then shot Winifred a disdainful look.
After they finished eating) Sienna told Vivian to take Amber to go buy something nearby.
Vivian immediately realized Sienna was just trying to get them out of the way, so she grabbed Amber by the arm and roughly dragged her off.
