Chapter 10
In the end, Zachary decided to go in himself.
Since he was too tall, he had the household staff cut away some more of the tank before he entered. With the faint light from
outside streaming in, he quickly fixed his gaze on a certain spot.
I followed his line of sight and saw my body lying there.
Zachary sneered. “Sarah, come on. Stop messing around. You might fool others with this little stunt, but not me. You scared Nina earlier. Now get out here and apologize, or I’ll divorce you.
“You should know that you’re just a worn–out woman who’s already had kids and been married. No one else would want you,
except me.”
But I didn’t need anyone to want me anymore.
I watched as Zachary walked toward my body. He reached out, grabbed my wrist that hung limply, and turned to yank
outside.
To my horror, I watched as my entire arm was ripped off.
Zachary walked out with my severed arm in his hand. Nina turned pale at the sight.
The young technician from earlier couldn’t hold it in. She screamed, “S–She’s dead! Mr. Finch has killed her!”

Zachary’s face twisted in disdain. “What do you mean by killed? My wife is right here. Don’t scare her. Sarah, come on. Get up
and apologize to Nina.”
Nina, hearing this, crumpled to the ground. Her eyes lost focus completely.
Seeing that, Zachary frowned. “Nina, get up. It’s cold on the floor.”
He extended both his hands to help her up, but she recoiled in horror, shouting, “No! Don’t come near me! It wasn’t me! I didn’t
do it. It wasn’t me!”
“What are you talking about, Nina?”
