The color drained from Seren’s face until she was pale. She felt like a ridiculous clown, coming here just to make a fool of herself. The shame was suffocating; she couldn’t even breathe, let alone stay in this place a second longer.

Nora hugged her tight, her eyes turning red. She really did understand–she understood it all. Everyone said Sienna was incredible, that she shined so bright, but behind all that brilliance was so much pain mixed in.
