Not long after, the doctor stepped out, pulling off his mask. “She’s fine,” he said to Thom. “But her body tends to run cold. Now that she’s pregnant, she needs to take good care of herself and avoid overexertion.”
“Thank you. As long as she’s fine. Thorn replied, relief flooding his voice.
Thorn was still basking in the joy that she was okay, when the doctor’s last words finally sank in.
He asked in disbelief, “Wait, what did you say? She’s pregnant?
Thorn’s
eyes went wide as he grabbed the doctor’s sleeve.
“Yes,” the doctor replied, a hint of reproach in his voice. “What kind of husband are you? Your wife has been pregnant for a month and you didn’t even know?”
Thorn let go of the doctor, looking completely lost and helpless.
The word “pregnant hit him like a ton of bricks, making it hard to breathe.
Pregnant Thorn’s mind reeled.
‘She’s really pregnant, he thought, still in disbelief.
Thom looked at Sienna lying on the hospital bed. The bitterness in his heart faded quickly, replaced by a sense of relief and hope. ‘It’s good that she’s pregnant, he thought.
This child she’s carrying it herself. It’s hers, he thought to himself.
Thor stayed by her bedside, his eyes drawn to her belly. For some reason, he couldn’t help but feel a strange, almost excited anticipation
There’s a little life growing inside her. It’s her own flesh and blood. Will the baby be as beautiful and cool as she is?‘ he wondered.
Without even realizing it, Thorn reached out and gently placed his hand on her belly
“What are you doing? Take your hand off.”
After hearing that Sienna had fainted, Julian rushed straight to the hospital. As soon as she arrived, she caught Thorn reaching out to
touch Sienna.
Even with the blanket in the way, it was still an eyesore to Julian
“Julian, you’re just in tirge. Come out,” Thorn said, his voice low and threatening.
Thorn had been boiling with rage and no outlet, so he grabbed Julian, intent on unleashing it all with a brutal beating.
People always thought Julian was the frail, helpless type–someone who’d get steamrolled by a guy like Thorn.
But when Lana and Reno showed up, what they saw was Thorn sprawled out on the lawn, face battered and swollen, totally at Julian’s
mercy.
Sienna slowly opened her eyes. “Lana, what happened to me?” she asked, her voice weak.
Sienna tried to sit up, but Lana hurried to support her. “Miss Enna, you’ve been overworking nonstop. You fainted. And… The doctor uid…
Lana trailed off, clearly struggling to get the words out.
“What is it? Just tell me, Sienna pressed, her tone steady but a little anxious.
“Miss Enna, you’re one month pregnant,” Lana finally said, her voice gentle but certain.
Sienna paused for a moment, a hint of surprise flickering across her face, but it quickly faded. She had more or less expected this. After all, she and Julian hadn’t taken any precautions.

“One month?‘ she thought to herself.
Sienna gently placed her hand on her belly, a tender expression softening her features.
“Miss Enna, the doctor said you can’t keep pushing yourself. Miss Vivian can handle everything at Hart Corporation now, and the Noir family incident is over. I really think you should take a break and let go of all your work for now,” Lana said, her voice full of concern.
Even if Lana hadn’t said it, Sienna would have made the same decision.
Sienna would stop at nothing to keep her child safe and sound.
“Julian doesn’t know yet, does she? Sienna asked, her tone calm but tinged with

Reno said, “She’s outside fighting with Thorn. Miss Enna, it was Thorn who brought you to the hospital.”
As they spoke, Julian appeared at the door, eyes red, grass stains on his clothes. He clung to the doorframe, his voice shaky and caurious.
“One month pregnant,” she said softly, her words heavy with emotion.
Julian had no idea how to put his feelings into words right now.
The
news from Thorn was still too much to take in. Her mind went completely blank.
Sienna gave a faint smile and nodded. Julian hurried over, about to grab her hand.
Reno pouted, grumbling. “You didn’t even wash your hands and you’re already touching Miss Enna?”
“Doesn’t she realize Miss Enna is pregnant now? Reno thought, a little exasperated.
What if her dirty hands end up affecting Miss Enna’s baby?‘ Reno fretted.
