Sienna could feel just how nervous she was. Once they were settled in the car, Sienna reached out and gently ruffled Julian’s hair.

Julian’s eyes turned a little red. She took Sienna’s hand and pressed it gently to her own cheek.

“Sienna,” Amber said, confused as she walked over.
She tilted her head up, her big round eyes full of worry. “Sienna, are you sick?
Sienna spoke softly, “Amber, I’m pregnant.”
“What?” Amber yelped, springing back like a startled cat.
Amber’s eyes went wide. She pointed at Julian, then at Sienna again, looking completely shocked.
“Sienna, you… You really have a baby in there?” Amber squeaked, her voice full of disbelief.
Sienna asked gently. “Yes. What’s wrong, Amber? Aren’t you happy?
“No, no… That’s not it, Sienna. I’m really happy, I swear. It’s just… It feels so unreal. There’s really a baby in your belly,” Amber stammered, still trying to wrap her head around it
Still in a daze, Amber shuffled over and, a little nervously, reached out to gently touch Sienna’s belly.
“Sienna,” Amber whispered, her voice full of awe.
“Let’s go inside,” Sienna said, smiling softly.
“Alright, alright, Sienna. I’ll hold you up. Take it easy,” Amber said, fussing over her.
Amber was even careful with her breathing, like she was terrified something might go wrong.
Sienna ruffled Amber’s hair with a doting smile. “Amber, it’s only been a month.”
