Edwin glanced at it, then suddenly screamed and fainted again.
Suzanne ran over to me in a frenzy and broke the mirror into pieces.
“How could you show him that? I’ve been hiding it from him all these days…”
“What’s the point of hiding it?” I cut her off, and when I noticed three hours had passed, I started gathering the special tools.
“Eventually, he’ll have to face how bad he looks now. It’s better to go through a quick pain than a long one. I’m trying to help him.”
After everything, Edwin looked like a mix between a ghost and a person,
but at least he survived.
I continued, “Forget about the eight million. Just grant my request.”
“What request?” Gerard gave me a dark glare.
I smirked and said, “I want your entire family to be destroyed.”
“That’s ridiculous!” Gerard scoffed, seeing that I had cured Edwin.
He continued, “You have no idea how powerful we are! I thought about paying you tens of thousands of dollars if you cured Edwin, but since you’re so bold, you won’t get a single cent!”

I simply replied, “Just wait and watch.”
I didn’t stay any longer and left right away.
