Julia stared at Isabella in disbelief, “Luna! How can you say something like that in public? Are you trying to make Emil break off the mate
bond with me?”
Isabella’s gaze was icy, devoid of any warmth. “I’ve given you enough time, Julia. But where’s the result? There’s nothing. I can’t wait
indefinitely and risk the bloodline of Blood
Moon Pack. This isn’t just about you; it’s about
the future of the entire pack.”
And so, the full moon gathering ended in a
bizarre atmosphere.

Claiming pregnancy and physical discomfort, James and I didn’t attend.

Just as those two female werewolves stepped out of the car, Julia suddenly fainted in front of

Julia cried out in anguish, “Emil, how could you say that? This is your child, our child! How could you misunderstand me like this?”
Emil let out a cold laugh, filled with disdain, “My child? I haven’t stepped foot in your room all this time! Tell me where this child came
from!”
Julia’s face turned deathly pale. “No way! On that night of the full moon, you had someone send me sweet wine, and after I drank it, you came into my room… That’s how we… How could you forget?”
Emil’s anger threatened to consume him. “On the night of the full moon, I wasn’t even in the pack! I was out on a border patrol! How could I have entered your room?”
The werewolves present, upon hearing this, had no difficulty understanding the situation.
Emil’s mate, the future Luna, was pregnant with
another werewolf’s child.

It was the biggest scandal Blood Moon Pack
had seen in a century.
Enraged, Emil immediately imprisoned Julia and locked down the entire residence, ordering a full investigation to find out which werewolf had slept with his mate.
The truth that was eventually uncovered
shocked all the werewolves.
Irena, daughter of the Blackrock Pack leader, had bribed Julia’s attendant, Omega Daisy, to slip a potent aphrodisiac into Julia’s sweet wine on the night of the full moon, aiming to expedite Julia breaking the mate bond with
Emil.
While Emil was away from the pack, she had clandestinely arranged for an unknown
werewolf to infiltrate Julia’s room.
Under the influence of the drug, Julia had been unaware and believed that the child in
her womb was Emil’s. She had hoped the child
would solidify her status, only to discover it was
all a vicious plot.

The culprit was none other than Julia.
She stood calmly outside the door, looking at
Emil, who rushed in due to the commotion. Her face bore a forlorn smile. “Emil, once I naively
believed we were fated mates, destined to receive the Moon Goddess’s blessing, eternally loyal to one another.”
“But you changed. You started to resent me because the pack I came from wasn’t strong enough. Then you yearned for Sylvie because she didn’t even give you the time of day. And you willingly accepted all those new women because they promised greater benefits.”
“If I had known you were such a cold–hearted werewolf, I’d rather have been devoured by

beasts in the wilderness than become your
mate and endure this endless humiliation and
pain.”
With those words, her body fainted, her mouth dripping with dark, poisonous blood.
She had already taken the wolfsbane herself,
severing the last thread of life right before Emil.
Irena, clutching her abdomen in agony, weakly grabbed Emil’s clothing, “Emil… Help me… You allowed me to deal with Sylvie… You suggested I could use any means… Save me!”
Emil kicked her away, his eyes filled with disgust. “I permitted you to compete, to challenge Julia, but I never allowed you to use such vile means to inflict such disgrace upon
me! You’ve got some nerve!”
“Your poisoning is the karma you deserve!”
As Irena convulsed violently, her breath slowly stopped, her eyes filled with resentment and
malice.
The series of tragedies at Emil’s residence could no longer be concealed.

Learning the full truth, Alpha Rex chastised Emil for being foolish like a pig, inadvertently leading to the death of his mate Julia and Irena, bringing disgrace to Blood Moon Pack.
The elders of the pack began to doubt Emil as a result of these events.
Under the strong demands of all the elder council members, Emil was completely stripped of his status as the pack’s future heir.
He was sent to defend the farthest and most challenging northern tundra, forbidden to return to the pack’s core without Alpha’s orders.
James, having shown outstanding ability and integrity in handling pack affairs, won unanimous praise from Alpha Rex and the pack elders, and his stature grew steadily.
By year’s end, I gave birth to a healthy son
for James, who was also Alpha Rex’s first grandson.
Alpha Rex was overjoyed and personally named our child: Eason.

at the mansion’s doorway, memories of my
past life’s tragic death flashed through my
mind.
Turning to look at James beside me, he
squeezed my hand tightly, his eyes warm and
reassuring.
Holding the sleeping Eason in my arms, I felt the gentle scent of milk, a symbol of new life and hope.
