Chapter 25
Chapter 25
I sent all the intimate photos of Octavia and
Alpha Knox to Octavia’s mate and to Alpha
Knox’s parents. Then I packed up and took my daughter back to the Moonlit Pack.
My days were filled with focused study and
training–I was determined to become an
outstanding Pack doctor. My daughter, too, had grown more cheerful and outgoing.
By the time I’d completely put Alpha Knox and Octavia behind me, Aurora called again, sounding unusually cheerful.
“Miss Hawthorne! I’m finally free from Octavia’s
tyranny!
Last week, she started hinting around the office that she was about to officially become Alpha’s
Luna.
Then, later that afternoon, some man barged into the office, grabbed her, and just started beating her up–calling her a slut and all kinds of names while hitting her.”
“When the Warriors tried to break it up, a bunch of photos spilled out all over the floor–pictures of Octavia with different men over the years, all

Alpha’s parents found out too, and they dragged him home immediately.
I seriously doubt she’s ever becoming Luna
now.”
Not long after, Octavia was fired.
Alpha Knox’s reputation took a serious hit.
He visited our daughter a few times after that -every time looking exhausted, as if he had something to say but couldn’t.
I knew him well enough to understand–he hated being lied to more than anything.
Once he realized how Octavia had played him
from the start, there was no way he’d ever forgive her.
And with his reputation as Alpha on the line, he needed to repair his image.
Getting back together with me? That was the
fastest fix.
It wasn’t until the twelfth time a friend tried setting me up with a new mate that Alpha Knox

“Beatrice… do you think there’s any chance for
us to start over?”
My answer?
I closed the door in his face–without a second
of hesitation.
Six months later, I officially became a Pack
doctor.
And that’s when things went south for Alpha
Knox.
Word had it that Octavia, unwilling to accept the collapse of her dream, barged into his office during lunch break and stabbed him with a
knife.
After he recovered, he banished her and her entire family from the Duskfall Pack.
The next time I saw Alpha Knox, he was waiting for me outside the hospital where I worked.
He looked pained as he pleaded,
“Beatrice… can I please see our daughter?”
Chapter 25
I gave him a gentle but firm answer:
“She’s staying with my parents right now. She’s made new friends and she’s happy there. She won’t be coming back anytime soon.”
His face turned pale. He reached out to stop me as I turned to leave, and in a low, desperate
voice, he begged:
“Beatrice, I’m sorry–for everything I did to you
and to our daughter.
If I told you I really regret it, and I wanted to start over… would you give me a chance to make things right?
“Yes, I messed up. Octavia seduced me–I was
foolish and weak.
But I swear I’ll never make that mistake again. Please, can you forgive me?”
“When I said I wanted to break the mate
bond… if you had asked me to stay, I would’ve
changed my mind in a heartbeat.
Beatrice, I’ve loved only you–all this time.
Please just give me one more chance…”

I looked at him calmly and replied with no
emotion:
“Alpha Knox, I’ve already moved on with my
life.
You should, too. Stop standing still and pretending the past hasn’t happened.”
“Whether you really regret it or you’re just trying to fix your public image–it doesn’t
matter to me anymore.
The pain you caused me and our daughter is real. And no amount of apologies will erase
that.”
“She’s happy now, and so am I.
Coming back into our lives uninvited–that’s not love. That’s disrespect.”
“Alpha Knox… this is the end of the road for us.”
He tried to take another step forward, but the Warrior my father had assigned to protect me stopped him.
After that, Alpha Knox still came to visit our

daughter from time to time, but I always kept my distance.
Eventually, he started meeting her outside.
His parents urged him to find a new mate—but
he lived out the rest of his life alone.
As for me, I stayed busy with work, fully immersed in my role as a Pack doctor.
Thankfully, my daughter had grown up- understanding how hard I worked and feeling proud of me.
Both of us found our own path and purpose, and now we shine bright in the worlds we love.
The End.
Book 4:
I had been with Alpha Peter of Silverfang Pack for eight years.
When I told him I was pregnant, he said, “Chloe, this is where it ends.”
He said that his mistress, Faye, was too pure and needed a title.
Chapter 25
“Chloe, she’s different from you.”
“You were able to follow me without a title, but
she can’t.”
I stood by him through bullets and hardships,
but he no longer wanted me.
That day, I didn’t look back.
What Alpha Peter didn’t know was that my
family, Winsor Pack, knew I was making a
mistake.
They had already raised a male wolf for me, waiting for me to give him a title.
