Chapter 32
I realized that Alpha Peter and Faye had chosen
the residence next door to mine.
The old castle of Winsor Pack hadn’t been
renovated, so the soundproofing was terrible.
I froze in front of the bathroom door.
“Still keeping that lace?”
Faye’s giggle mixed with the sound of fabric rubbing together. “Every time I see it, I feel
embarrassed for Chloe.”
Peter sneered, “A slut should act like one.”
Then his voice dropped lower, “That sickly Lucas, do you think he can make her moan?”
“Maybe she’s crying and begging Lucas…” Faye’s words were cut off by a gulp.
I gripped the doorknob. My nails almost dug into my palm.
“They really should go to hell.” Tina growled in my mind.

Turning around, I bumped into Lucas’s dark
eyes.
“Lucas…” I started to speak.
He turned and walked away. The hem of his bathrobe brushed against his ankle.
“He’s angry!” Tina suddenly shouted, “Hurry,
calm him down!”
I caught up and grabbed his wrist. The bathrobe parted, water droplets still clinging to
his abs.
“Did you hear that?” I stood on tiptoe, my breath brushing his reddened earlobe.
Lucas’s throat moved. “What do you want to
hear?”
“I want to hear you say…”
I traced my fingertip over the hollow of his collarbone. “Is what they said true?”
The door lock clicked.
Lucas pinned me against the wall. His knee pushed apart my legs. His breath was hot

against my skin. “Do you still think I’m ‘weak‘?”
I tilted my head back, biting his chin. “That night in the bathroom… you clearly…”
“Shh.” He covered my mouth with his hand, and
with his other hand, he tugged at his bathrobe tie. Water droplets from his abs dripped onto my wrist. “Do you want to verify?”
Suddenly, he pinned my wrist above my head.
Our noses almost touched. “Is it to make Peter
angry?”
His voice trembled, his lashes brushing my cheek. “Even if it is… don’t regret it.”
I hooked my arms around his neck, my fingers trailing down his lower back. “Wanna try?”
Lucas squeezed his eyes shut. When he opened them again, his eyes were bloodshot.
“Coco, this is your own doing.”
He suddenly lifted me and threw me onto the
bed. The loosened bathrobe burned with his
scorching body temperature through the fabric.
Footsteps suddenly echoed outside the door.
Chapter 32
Peter’s mocking laugh pierced the door: “No matter how loud you scream, you’re still a stray
dog!”
Lucas’s body tensed, but I climbed onto his
waist, deliberately raising my voice, “Lucas, bite
here…”
He froze. Then he flipped me over, pressing me
into the sheets.
When his teeth sank into my collarbone, his
voice mixed with anger and allure: “You’re
cooperating nicely. But…”
His tongue traced the bite marks, “It’s my turn
to teach you what true loss of control feels like.”
Tina howled wildly in my mind: “So wild! Keep going!”
I reached up and hooked my arms around his
neck, “Now, prove it to me.”
He didn’t realize how much he resembled
someone I forced into this situation.
I climbed over him, grabbed the warm milk, and drank it in one go.
Chapter 32
When I opened my eyes, Alpha Lucas’s gaze
flashed with a trace of disappointment.
I noticed it sharply, and I patted the bed beside
- me.
“Come over here.” I flicked my fingers on the edge of the bed and smiled. “What are you zoning out for?”
When he heard me, Beta Lucas paused, walking stiffly like a robot.
Before Lucas could respond, Faye’s voice came
from next door. “Peter, do you think Chloe is begging Lucas not to abandon her? After all, who else would want her besides you?”
Peter laughed loudly. “With her cheap look,
when Lucas gets tired of her, she’ll have to
crawl back to me!”
“Still angry?” I grabbed his wrist and pulled
hard.
“After all, you’re my future Alpha.”
“If I can’t find you in the middle of the night…” I bit his Adam’s apple deliberately. “I’ll drag you back and lock you in bed.”
Chapter 33
Lucas let out a muffled laugh, pressing his chin
heavily on top of my head.
