“You really think anyone will believe you if you go around spreading lies in the Pack? I took a severe hit protecting Damian from a Rogue… I’m his savior! Why should I listen to you and disappear once I have the money? Damian already sees me as his one true love. He even gave up his fated mate Seraphina for me!
“I can hear the despair in her voice. She’s not coming back. From now on, I’ll be Silvermoon Pack’s what if she was his fated mate? Over the years, I’ve schemed against her again and again. Damian and Ethan only defended
and no one else! So

“I faked it so she pushed me down the stairs, but that idiot even tried to save me and ended up hurting herself. Damian publicly blamed her, too. Serves her right!
“She always wanted to see the meteor shower, but all I had to do was act coy, and they took me instead! From now on, everything Damian and the Silvermoon Pack own will belong to me!”
Vivian’s eyes shone with smug satisfaction. Her face twisted into something unrecognizable, a far cry from her usual fragile facade.
Their argument continued, but Damian’s Alpha Wolf Soul was already howling with rage. He burst from the shadows.
“Enough!”
His voice roared like it came from the depths of the burning hell, bringing the infernal fury with him.
Vivian and the Rogue both froze, turning to face him.
When Vivian saw Damian’s furious, blood–red eyes, her face went white. She had never seen him like this.
“Damian ? What are you doing here?” Vivian whispered, her voice trembling.
Damian didn’t answer. The Alpha’s aura he was radiating was so powerful, it made it hard for Vivian and the Rogue to breathe. Damian walked forward, every step was heavy, striking fear into their hearts. His sharp gaze locked on Vivian.

“What did you do to me? What did you do to Seraphina?!”
The Rogue tried to make a run for it, but Damian was on him in a flash. One brutal punch to the face sent him flying like doll, crashing to the ground with a pained scream. He coughed out a mouthful of blood and passed out cold.
Damian turned, marching toward Vivian, who was already a mess on the ground. There was no pity in his eyes, only pure disgust and fury.
“Damian, let me explain!”
Vivian scrambled up, reaching for his sleeve.
“It was him! He forced me! He threatened me! I… I had no choice, Damian! I love you, I really do!”
Her voice broke with practiced tears, desperate for sympathy as she started her usual act.
“Do you really think I’d believe a single word?” D Damian’s voice was like ice, brimming with disappointment and resolve.

He grabbed Vivian by the throat, lifting her off the ground. Vivian’s face turned purple; she scratched his hand with both her hands, unable to break free.
“You used my sympathy, gained my trust through deception, and hurt the person I cared about most.” Damian’s words were cold, his murderous intention thick. “Did you really think you could keep on toying with the Silvermoon Pack?”
Vivian’s tears and mucus mixed as she struggled and screeched in agony.
“Damian, please let me go, I was wrong! I’ll never do it again! Please, just give me another chance! I swear I won’t lie again!”
Damian flung Vivian aside like trash, slamming her against the wall. She slid down, coughing violently in a pitiful, broken mess as tears and mucus covered her entire face.
“From this moment on, you’re no longer a werewolf belonging to the Silvermoon Pack. You have nothing to do with me anymore. Get lost! Never set foot in Silvermoon Pack again!”
Without looking back, he turned and left, leaving behind the shivering Vivian and the unconscious Rogue.
But even after all this, would Seraphina really come back?
Would the end result change?
No… It was all too late!
All the moments Damian had chosen to ignore replayed in his mind. One after another, like a series of slides.
The time Seraphina pointed at Vivian, desperately trying to explain the truth she had seen.
The time her Moonstone ring was broken. It was also the first time she broke down and cried.
The time she covered her face and chose to swallow her tears in silence at her most helpless moment.
The first time she fell down the stairs…but all he had seen was Vivian’s tears.
The moment he rejected Seraphina, her Wolf Soul within shattered. He had personally used his hands to pave the road down to despair, piece by piece.
Never before had he felt so clearly like now that he had lost Seraphina forever.
She was gone, and she would never come back.
Damian couldn’t even remember how he got home.
When he walked in, he saw Ethan slumped on the couch, eyes empty and lifeless.

The elderly maid stood across from him, her expression distant. “It’s not as if I’m just now telling the truth. Over the past year, when did Miss Seraphina ever lie about what happened?”
Ethan stared blankly at her, as if he hadn’t heard a word. Looking at how lost Ethan was, Damian instantly knew that Ethan had finally found out about the truth as well.
The maid’s voice trembled with pity. “I watched her grow up. I know she could be proud and stubborn sometimes, but she
would never hurt anyone with tricks or lies.”
Both of them believed that in the past. So why, after Vivian arrived, had they stopped believing in Seraphina?
Ethan got up and stumbled upstairs.
Damian followed, watching as Ethan entered the bedroom and pulled out a Moonstone necklace from the deepest part of his
bedside drawer.
Ethan mumbled to himself, “I promised her… I promised I would personally give this to her the day she became Luna.”
Damian then said in a hoarse voice, “She’s not coming back.”
Ethan’s fingers around the necklace closed tight as his lips trembled. Finally, for the first time, he couldn’t hold back and let his tears fall. Silent tears dripped onto the Moonstone. His voice shook until no one could hear what he was saying anymore.
“That’s right. She won’t be coming back.”
