Damian’s POV:
I tried so hard to ignore them
But I couldn’t stop myself, not when I had seen them so close to one another
“Urgh, Elara” I grunted in frustration as I headed towards my dorm.
By the time the sun had set I was too exhausted to move a finger, I was too angry to think about anything else that wasn’t Elara
1lazily dragged myself through the morning classes, forcing myself to act like everything was fine like I hadn’t seen the woman. I loved with someone else, and not just anyone.

“Yes, I guess” 1 Sternly said and her sweet smell flooded my senses. Elara was nearby
Caspian leaned forward, his voice low enough for me to hear him, “She’s by the door, and let me guess You saw Julian your woman?”
I turned my head to find her speaking with Sabrina, oblivious to the fact that I was there Turning back to Caspian, I asked: “How’d you….”

Caspian shrugged his hands “I just had a feeling, especially with the way Julian has been visiting her in the hostel, I knew it wouldn’t take long before you found out or saw them together”
My gaze sharpened. “Visiting her in her hostel?”
“Yeah, I saw them together two nights ago, seemed they went out together” He continued I guess it was a date cause she looked dolled up and heard that he had parked outside her door waiting for her so they’d leave together.
His words struck a nerve. And as much as I didn’t want to admit it.

That night, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong
I had stayed late in the library, trying my best to forget about Julian’s sudden interest in Elara.

I swallowed hard, scanning the darkness. My wolf stirred, how did she know I was the one behind her even after I blended my scept with the environment and moved with the shadows?
“Damian, I know you’re there, just come out already” she urged
And I obediently listened to him.
Relict and irritation were visible on her face as I approached her

That was the cue for me to leave but something about the cerieness of the pathway made my senses twitch.

She stared at me for a while “What is that supposed to mean?”
Before I could answer, a soul–chilling sound pierced the quietness of the night as a low menacing growl emerged from the shadows.
