1 Chapter 1
My sister faked going feral to break her bond with Alpha Wyatt.
I was forced to be her replacement.
I thought my secret love was finally mine, but his pack made my life hell.
Then my sister murdered me with poison.
I woke up back on that first day.
I accepted the proposal from Jaxon Thorne.
They call him the Cursed Alpha. Infamous for a brutal temper. Unable to bond with any she–wolf.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Wyatt snarled. “Are you betraying me for him?”

After seeing the members of the Thorne family off, my mother turned to me, fear plain on her
face.
My father, the Alpha of the Mistwood Pack, frowned. “Don’t be afraid, my mate. Even as the Alpha of the Thorne Pack, he can’t force my daughter’s hand. I’ll go to their elders at once and tear up this contract.”
With that, he stood up, radiating an Alpha’s dominant aura.
I replied calmly, “Jaxon has promised that if I bond with him, he will summon the legendary healer, Kaelen, to cure Willa of her Feral Insanity with a secret remedy.”
Hearing this, my father stopped in his tracks. His tone changed in an instant.
“I permit you to bond with Jaxon Thorne. Becoming his mate is the only contribution you can make to this pack. Starting today, we will prepare for your bonding ceremony.”
My mother’s eyes were red as she interjected tearfully, “But Jaxon is cursed! How can we be sure we aren’t sending Liliana into a pit of fire?!”
My father’s expression was as cold as ice. He snapped, “That’s just baseless nonsense! What would an Omega from a low–ranking bloodline like you know?!”
With that, he turned and left.
I wasn’t surprised by his reaction.
He might have held a sliver of fatherly affection for me, but it was nothing compared to how he cherished my sister, Willa.
Willa was the future glory of our pack.

From childhood to this day, whenever a conflict arose between us, he would unflinchingly take her side, even when she was in the wrong.
I wiped away my mother’s tears and comforted her, “Mom, don’t worry about me. I’ll soon be Jaxon’s mate. You should be happy for me.”
“No buts. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine,” I soothed.
Kaelen lived up to his reputation. In just two days, Willa recovered from her supposed Feral Insanity.
My father was ecstatic and threw a banquet to announce the good news.
He looked at me, his voice laced with the Alpha’s Command as he ordered, “Liliana, inform the Ravencrest Pack of Willa’s recovery and invite them to this evening’s banquet.”
I went to their territory alone and was stopped at the entrance by a Beta guard. I had to explain my purpose before he agreed to pass on the message.
I stood under the scorching sun for two hours before Wyatt finally emerged from the pack house.
The moment he saw me, he began to scold me:
“Just because I agreed to bond with you doesn’t mean you can endlessly bother me, Liliana!”
Ignoring his disgusted expression, I answered calmly, “My sister has recovered. Father is holding a celebratory banquet tonight.”
The news took him by
I nodded.
urprise. “Willa’s really recovered?”
Wyatt smiled and took the invitation from my hand. “I’ll be there on time.”
In that moment, it was crystal clear: in Wyatt’s eyes, Willa was the moon, and I was just dust beneath his feet.
