Thinking of the past. Gwen fell silent.
Ethan didn’t bother with her cither. After Gwen caused a fuss in the backseat for a long time, she finally quieted down, Chris let out a relieved
breath.
Gwen looked out the window. The car was hack at Hillside Villas.
She lowered her gaze weakly. No matter how much she tried to avoid it, she still had to come back and beg him. Money and power really were powerful things.
The car turned onto the mountain road, weaving through the forest, and entered through the main gate, cutting off everything from the outside world

She sat for a while, and as the car grew colder, she shivered and wrapped herself in the blanket. Barefoot, she got out of the car, clutching her lothes to her chest, and walked toward the parking lot door.
But she couldn’t open the door, even after scanning her fingerprints and entering the password.
She had no idea why Ethan wanted her here after changing her login information. Naked and freezing in the underground parking garage, she was about to returns to the car and wait for her clothes to dry before changing.
