Zion let out a sharp laugh. “Are you serious? That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day. Iler?”
Jackson’s icy glare cut through the room. By all means, laugh yourself to death, idiot.”
Ryan’s voice overlapped with his. “Enough!”
Zion’s face burned as he whipped toward Jackson “Who do you think you are, calling me an idiot?”
Jackson smiled, “I don’t think. Zion. 1 know. You’re an idiot.”
“You—” Zion shot up from his chair.
He had been used to being praised, but after facing setbacks one after another, and now being insulted directly, he was completely broken down.
Ryan pulled him back. “That’s enough, Zion.”
His voice dropped to a low, warning tone as he turned to Jackson. “Mr. Moore, I apologize on my brother’s behalf. He’s out of line, but your words were unnecessary. I’d appreciate it if both of you could apologize and move forward.”
Jackson’s grin faded, replaced by a look that could freeze lava.
For years, no one had dared to tell Jackson Moore what to do, and he wasn’t about to start now.
Janie handed him the Coffee Jackson’s tense shoulders relaxed, his sharp edges melting as he accepted the cup with an affectionate glance her way,

Ryan cast a quick look at Zion before sighing and shaking his head. There was no reasoning with him. Letting it go was the only way forward.
But then Ryan’s gaze shifted to Janie. His biggest regret was bringing Zion here. If not for his brother’s constant provocations, maybe things wouldn’t have spiraled so badly between them and Janie.
In just a few hours, she’d be gone–and Ryan had no idea where to even begin finding her afterward.
The weight of it hit like a punch to the gut. His own sister felt like a stranger, more distant than someone he’d passed on the street.
The room was cloaked in awkward silence.
As everyone packed their belongings back at the cabin, the air buzzed with anticipation.
Emily lingered awkwardly near David. “David, thank you so much for coming on the show because of me. It means a lot. Take care on your way back.”

Out of respect for the cameras, he measured his words. “I didn’t join because of you. My company asked me to take on a reality show, and this one fit my schedule. It’s pure coincidence”
Still, David wasn’t done. “Took. I know you meant no harm, but stuff like this? It can lead to misunderstandings. No hard feelings, though.”
Emily’s face froze for a moment.
Just then, Janie walked out. Upon seeing her, David smiled, “But I do like this show, and I’m quite happy about it, good luck on your filming”
Emily forced a smile and said. “Alright”
Janie David called out, a grin lighting up his face. Janie just nodded.
David didn’t mind her indifference one bit, and he trotted over cheerfully.
Seeing this. Emily wished she could smack him!
[Emily, you really want to stir up, don’t you!]

Ryan called Janie’s name and walked over. His stride was purposeful, and not far behind him, Zion and Xena trailed along.
Jackson’s annoyance was barely masked. But Janie didn’t actually feel anything.
The Jenkins family’s behavior was hardly surprising, it’s just that she was the one not favored or chosen.
Luckily, she hadn’t had much expectation from the beginning.
“What’s going on?” Janie asked.
That simple, even tone sent an unexpected rush through Ryan.
It was strange how something so neutral could feel like progress. After all, Janie didn’t bother acknowledging most people.
