Janic sounded a hit irritated “Worte asking that on purpose, aren’t you? Is that funny?”
Jackson was momentarily speechless.
Janic has already made it clear calier that she and Spencer were together, so Jackson knew all about it
In his mits, Jackson couldn’t help but grit his teeth and think, ‘She is in such a hurry. Why not let Spencer chase her a little more and go look at some other handsome men on there?
Sure, Spencer looks good, but so what? She’s too easy to win over Janie is going to regret this sooner or later.
“Is something wrong?” Janie asked, absentmindedly twirling Spencer’s fingers.
Jackson then got to the point. David’s family is in trouble. He tried to reach you. Since he couldn’t get through, he contacted me. It’s probably related to the same thing as last time. If you’re free and willing, you should go check it out?
Janie pauseil. “Okay, I got it. She ended the call, turning to Spencer. “Mr. Alvarez, looks like the rest we were hoping for will have to watt Time to get to work”
Spencer gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. “Should I come with you, or do you want to bring your men?”
At the entrance to the Smith residence, both David and Jackson were already waiting
“Hi, Janie,” Jackson said, his eyes lighting up when he saw her.
David hurried over, his face anxious. “Hello, Miss Janice…” He had truly run out of options and was pinning all his hopes on Janie.
Jackson was still recording a show when David had found him.
Janie nodded, “It’s okay,” Behind her were Matthew and Brian.
Yes, Janie had opted to bring her lackeys along. Spencer pouted, stealing a few more kisses from her before letting her go.
Matthew and Brian had been the quickest to reach her, so she picked them. After all, they were her followers, and it was important to spread the tasks around fairly.
David clearly seemed very anxious, but he didn’t pressure Janie. Without delay, she walked right into the estate.
David was easily reassured by her calm presence. He followed closely behind her. “Today is my grandfather’s birthday. We had invited you before.”
Janie nodded. She wasn’t interested and politely declined.
David continued. “It was going well at first, but then my grandparents and my parents suddenly collapsed, bleeding black blood. I couldn’t do anything, so I came to you.
Janie nodded again. “I understand.”
Jackson had been silent the whole time, staying out of the conversation.
Janie walked right into the Smith residence, unhindered. It was clear the family cared a lot about the birthday party, as the
decorations were elaborate.

Luckily, the event was scheduled for the afternoon. If this had happened with many guests around, it would have caused quite the scene.
David wanted to rush forward and pull Janie along to see William and the others, but he held bark.
Matthew and Brian were right behind them, walking proudly. Following Miss Janie really does make us feel on top of the world, they thought to themselves.
If they were Noah, they would boast too. But that didn’t mean they regretted beating up Noah. He deserved it.
They would look down on him, beat him up, replace him, and surpass him. Of course, the others thought the same.
