Janie gave her a strange look and said, “What’s that face? I’m always happy to help others. It’s my virtue, please don’t be surprised.” Xena forced a smile and said, “You’re right, thank you.” Janie unperturbedly accepted her thanks and stood up.

Xena suppressed her inner disdain, glanced at them with concern, and continued walking with Janie. She felt a bit uneasy again. Janie was merely walking as usual. How could I feel an aura of dominance?‘
