Then, he took his tools and started digging. The more he dug, the more enthusiastic he was. It was as if he had already seen the looks of envy on Ryan and Zion’s faces when they saw how much potatoes he dug up.
The thought alone had him grinning car to car.
Looking at him, Janie shook her head with a smile. After all, who would have thought that the heir of the Moore Group would be this childishly competitive?
Still, she liked the fact that he was in such a relaxed and happy state.
She felt that it was nice this way.
On the other hand, Zion scoffed after he heard their whole conversation. “Champion? Don’t you think it’s too early to say that? Better hope you don’t end up embarrassing yourself.”
In that split second, Jackson’s smile faded, and he rolled his eyes.
He wondered if they still had their eyes on Janie. Otherwise, he couldn’t understand why were they everywhere in sight.
Thinking about it, Jackson looked at them disdainfully and said, “Don’t tell me you guys don’t even know how to dig. Try not to be too jealous of my skills.”
Seeing his proud expression, Janie smiled happily.
On the other hand, Zion felt insulted and retorted, “That’s just rediculous. I just haven’t done it before. Bring it on!”
“Come on then.” Jackson shrugged nonchalantly.
If it were in the past, Ryan would have already criticized Zion. However, he silently agreed with his brother this time.
He doubted that they couldn’t defeat Jackson.
However, he didn’t boast like Zion. Instead, he started digging with determination.
In the meantime, Ryan couldn’t help but glance at Janie. Then, he soon turned the other way and continued to dig potatoes.
