He couldn’t believe Molly had left him behind.
Jason felt a surge of frustration.
After thinking for a moment, he said to Ryan and Zion, “Let me help you carry the potatoes.”
However, Ryan and Zion were not foolish. They knew that Jason just wanted a share of their potatoes for free.
Thus, they immediately turned him down. “You should go dig your own potatoes.”
There was no way they were letting anyone mooch off their hard work again.

To win against Jackson, they had put in all their effort. Naturally, they weren’t about to let Jason swoop in and freeload off their efforts.
On the other hand, Jason froze.
After all, He had only dug up a few potatoes earlier, spending most of his time finding Emily and comforting her.
Seeing how firm Ryan and Zion were, Jason gave up on pestering them and hopped in the nearest truck to catch up with Molly.
Meanwhile, he felt a pang of resentment toward Emily, feeling she had slowed him down.
After watching Jason left, Ryan and Zion got back to focusing on hauling their potatoes.
Seeing they weren’t going to budge, Jason muttered a few curses under his breath and hurried off to find the others.
At the same time, Xena was still comforting Emily.

Seeing that Emily showed no intention of stopping, Xena finally broke down.
For a second, she recalled how she herself had criedearlier and wondered was this what she had looked like.
Xena felt that comforting Emily was way harder than carrying potatoes and deeply regretted her decision.
After all, she had always been spoiled at home and had never comforted anyone before.
Soon, her patience had completely run out, and she said, “We’re still filming, Emily. I’ve got work to do with my brothers. Sorry, but I can’t keep babysitting you.”
With that, she walked off to find Ryan and Zion.
Emily, who was sobbing loudly, froze and cursed Xena inwardly.

Left with no other choice, she wiped her tears and went to help Ryan and Zion.
After all, she hadn’t dug up a single potato herself. Thus, she wouldn’t have anything to eat if she didn’t follow them.

On the other hand, Janie and the others were already selling their potatoes.
Since David and Molly weren’t in the same group as Janie and Jackson, they had split up to sell separately.
Janie set up a digital scale and a sign that read [Potatoes. One dollar per pound. Self–serve only. No haggling.] Then, she took out a portable speaker, which she set to repeat in a loop.
“Potatoes, one dollar a pound…”
Next, she pulled out two foldable lounge chairs and a sun umbrella, creating a cozy little spot for her and Jackson to relax.
They lay comfortably on the chair and sipped on some juice.
Instead of selling things, it seemed more like they were on vacation.
Their setup was so chill it drew a lot of curious customers.
Still, neither of them moved.
After all, they had made it clear that it was all self–service.
Since the show was quite popular, Janie and Jackson had disguised themselves since they were also celebrities.
As a result, not many people recognized them.
The potatoes Jackson dug were big and fresh–looking, and the self–serve concept was a hit. Soon, business was brisk.
Janie and Jackson still appeared relaxed.

The man was kicked far away.

Right now, the man had become everyone’s target of blame.

The man couldn’t take it anymore and cried out, “It’s just a few bucks! I’ll give it back to you! Stop hitting me!”
If it weren’t for Janie’s kick, the man would have already left.
