The next day, we went to Pack Justice and filed a report. The pack court immediately launched an investigation, and soon enough, evidence was found, confirming Jade’s guilt.
Jade was sentenced to life imprisonment, never to be released.
When she was taken away, no one came forward. Perhaps feeling ashamed, even my parents remained silent. No matter how much Jade begged to see them one last time, they refused to meet her.
Instead, they sent me a message to apologize.
“Rona, we were foolish in the past, and we’re sorry for what happened”
