Chapter 284
Helena furiously pointed at Rosalie’s carefree smile, her vision going black, her body swaying.
The next second, Rosalie pulled her forward with a strong tug.
She leaned into Helena’s ear and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, “I don’t care what you want from me, but
After that, Rosalie wiped away her playful attitude, leaving only a cold chill.
Helena’s pure image, carefully maintained for over a year at Hawthorne University, hadn’t been built in vain.
you won’t get it.”
Even though her face had been ruined yesterday, seeing her like this still made some boys feel sorry for her and think Rosalie had gone too far.
They were simply Helena’s brainless fans.
Even now, with Rosalie in front of them–the lecturer who decided their graduation grades–someone they were displeased with, they still dared to step up and defend Helena.
“Ms. Talley, Helena already apologized to you. As a teacher, can’t you just be more generous and forgive her? Besides, she already said it wasn’t her intention. Why can’t you just let it go?” asked one boy.
Rosalie calmly looked at the guy who spoke and asked with a smile, “Huh? What exactly am I not letting go of?”
“Uh…” The boy was caught off guard by her question and suddenly realized that from the beginning, it was Helena who had been begging Rosalie for forgiveness.
The boy awkwardly shifted his stance. Although he had impulsively stepped up to defend Helena because he couldn’t stand seeing her mistreated, he didn’t want to offend Rosalie too much.
Just one word from Rosalie could affect his future prospects, no matter what.
He turned red in the face, forcing himself to speak, “But Helena begged and asked you to forgive her. Why won’t you just agree?”
Rosalie was directly amused by the guy’s bizarre, robber–like logic, “So, if she wants to scheme against me, it’s fine, but if she asks me to forgive her, I’m supposed to? Otherwise, I’m the one in the wrong, is that what you mean?”
“I…” The guy’s expression turned a bit embarrassed.
But Rosalie didn’t cut him any slack just because he was her student. “How did you even get into Hawthorne University with this weird logic, huh?”
Her gaze at him was full of mockery and pity.
“If you want to be Helena’s lapdog, that’s your business, but you have no right to expect others to act the same. You definitely don’t have the right to stand in front of me, the victim, and ask me to play along with your little lapdog
act. Got it?”
Every time Rosalie said “lapdog,” the guy’s face turned even redder.
Though he did have intentions of trying to please Helena, hearing Rosalie flat–out call him a “lapdog” made him feel utterly humiliated.
The guy still felt so ashamed, he could barely hold his head up.
“And if I decide not to forgive her, what are you going to do about it?”
Rosalie let out a sneer. Even though the guy was taller than her, at that moment, it felt like he was being pressured by Rosalie’s presence, making it impossible for him to hold his head high.
“When you’re capable enough to stand in front of me and negotiate, maybe then you can use your little robber logic, but for now, you should focus on improving yourself. Don’t try to act like a hero when you’re just pretending.”
Rosalie didn’t leave any room for the guy to save face, crushing him without mercy.
