The guy stood there, feeling the countless gazes around him—mocking, sympathetic, or pitying. He gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with resentment and bitterness as they followed Rosalie’s retreating figure.
“Alright, Callum, Ms. Talley is right. She’s the victim. No one but her has the right to ask her to forgive anyone. Why do you feel the need to step in and make it all about you?
“If one day, the bitch you admired betrays you and you’re getting bullied online, will you still be so generous to forgive the culprit? Come talk to me then,” another guy said.
In the class, there were Helena’s sycophants, but also people who didn’t think much of Helena, seeing through her scheming act.
So, when they saw Callum Hunter standing on his moral high ground and criticizing Rosalie, they couldn’t just stand by and watch.
However, Rosalie’s fighting spirit was too strong. She didn’t need someone to step in. She had already shut down the guy’s nonsense by herself, giving them no chance to intervene.
After Rosalie left, that was when the others started speaking up.
Callum listened to the criticisms and mockery directed at him and sneered inwardly, full of disdain.
He wasn’t blind. He knew what everyone was thinking. They were just after the influential connections Rosalie had in the medical field. They were clinging to her now, hoping to climb up through her.

Helena’s little stunt didn’t affect Rosalie at all. After all, if Helena wanted to gain something from her, she wouldn’t stop at just today.
Since she’d done such an embarrassing thing, it showed that what Helena wanted was far more important than her so–called “noble” face.

Rosalie was thinking this over as she walked back to the research building, when unexpectedly, she ran into someone.
“Ms. Talley. The familiar voice made Rosalie look up and see Roseanne walking towards her, smiling.
It was a completely different attitude from the last time, when Roseanne had scolded her after the car accident.
Rosalie raised an eyebrow. “Ms. Palmer.”
Aside from the car accident incident, Rosalie had seen Roseanne a few more times, but always with other people around, so they never really spoke directly. So, this was technically their second time having a real conversation,
“Ma. Talley knows me?” Roseanne pretended to be surprised.
I found out later. Linda mentioned you a lot,” Rosalie similed, her expression warm, completely different from the angry look she had when she slapped Roseanne last time.
