Jason sized her up, pretending to be deeply in love.
“I didn’t expect that although you had lived in…that kind of place since you were young, your temperament and self-restraint are beyond compare with Eliza’s.”
“You are the real lady!”
“Please accept this cup of coffee as an apology for my being rude to you previously.”
Jason handed her a cup of coffee as he spoke.
Miah glanced at it.
It may have a strong fragrance but it still couldn’t conceal what had been added to it.
Back in the organisation, she had been dubbed as having a dog’s nose.
Her sense of smell was several times better than that of an average person.
Jason’s trick was so clumsy that she’d be able to tell what he was up to in her sleep!
Miah accepted the coffee and looked directly at him as she opened her mouth to drink it.
Jason was already rejoicing internally; he didn’t think she would be fooled so easily. Miah wasn’t as formidable as the Sampsons had claimed as his handsome looks had done the trick.
He had already installed a pinhole camera at the door of the room.
Once Miah began acting crazy after drinking the coffee, he would start a live broadcast with just a push of a button.
Miah took in Jason’s expression and actions.
“Heh, isn’t this familiar?” she mentally scoffed.
In her previous life, Eliza tricked her into going to the hospital for a physical examination. In the end, she had drank drug-laced coffee and began feeling uncomfortable all over as her body itched and heated up.
Her unsightly behaviour due to the effects of the drug was uploaded on the Internet, which made her lose all her dignity and be ridiculed.
It was also because of this incident that she had no choice but to join an international mysterious organization, which allowed her to gain the hidden identity that she currently had.
Miah smirked.
A splashing sound was heard in the next second.
She had dumped the cup of coffee on the floor.
She then kicked Jason hard in the back of his knees.
“What are you doing, Miah!” Jason roared as he knelt on the floor.
“I just didn’t feel like drinking coffee all of a sudden.
“Come on. Since you wanted to apologize, I’ll forgive you if you lick the coffee off the ground while on your knees. How does that sound?”
“You’re insane, why should I—ah!”
Just as he was about to yell at her, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his legs.
Miah had her arms crossed and was stepping on one of his legs. Her foot was barely Movekill as she skillfully applied pressure, but it was enough to cause Jason so much pain that he’d rather die.
“Oh? What’s the matter? Mia asked, feigning ignorance.
“Are you really going to let such good coffee go to waste? You sure you don’t want to lap it up? If you don’t, then your legs—”
“I—Ah! It hurts! I’ll do it!” Jason cried out.
He was in so much pain that his face had turned purple and all the veins were bulging.
He felt as though the bone in his leg was about to break; he had no idea why Miah was so strong.
He hesitated just as his lips were about to touch the floor. Seeing this, Miah applied even more pressure.
“S-Stop! I’ll lick it! I’ll lick it!”
Outside the door, Bobby’s face was extremely gloomy.
He could vaguely hear a man and woman talking about “licking” through the door, and his thoughts went in the wrong direction due to the text message he had received.
At this moment, Bobby’s expression was beyond terrifying.
Even Emilio wished that he was dead…
“Are they really talking about licking… Oh heavens, Ms. Sampson!” Emilio’s thoughts went in a lewd direction, having misunderstood the snippets of conversation he managed to catch.
A furious Bobby peeked through the non-frosted part of the door to see what was going on inside the room.
In order to allow Bobby to catch them in the act, Eliza had deliberately chosen a door with an opening that would allow him to look directly into the room without needing to open it.
She had thought of every aspect of her scheme, but even she couldn’t predict what was currently happening in the ward.
Bobby saw with his own eyes a kneeling Jason who was crying and sobbing as he licked the floor like a dog.
“Please stop! It hurts! It hurts!” Jason begged through his sobs.
As for Miah, she was still stepping on his leg with one foot and would kick him with it from time to time.
Jason jerked violently with every kick.
Bobby’s expression didn’t soften in the slightest when he saw this. However, his anger also didn’t continue rising.
Emilio, who was standing to the side, couldn’t help his curiosity and tiptoed to look into the room from an opening that was higher on the door.
He was flabbergasted by what he saw.
“Damn, Ms. Sampson seems to have a really… interesting preference,” he commented, still misunderstanding the situation.
“It’s a good thing that you’re not married yet to her yet, Mr. Gallagher, otherwise, your legs…”
Emilio’s voice trailed off when he looked at Bobby who was opposite him.
Sure enough, Bobby had a deadly glare in his eyes.
“Jason deserves to die.” Bobby’s tone was extremely terrifying.
Meanwhile, back inside the room, Jason looked like he was close to death as he lay on the floor.
Miah estimated that it was about time for the drug he had ingested to take effect.
Kicking him aside, she took the camera off the door frame and pointed it directly at him.
Jason’s body convulsed slightly and sure enough, a few seconds later, he began acting as though he was out of his mind.
“Ah, this coffee tastes so good.
“Licking it off the floor makes it taste even better, hahaha.”
