After dinner, Hope made her way to Easton’s room, intending to take a shower and then sleep.
After barely managing to finish her shower, she realized she couldn’t put on any clothes! Her previous outfit’s sleeves had been cut up, and when she took them off earlier, she had no hesitation in ripping the clothes apart.
Now, looking at her pajamas and pants, she was at a loss. The pants were fine, but she couldn’t wear the top!
In the end, Hope found a tank top with built–in padding and straps to tie around her shoulders, and she hurried to find Easton.

She wriggled around in bed like a little bug, her injured hand making it hard to find a comfortable position.

Easton deleted a pile of garbled text from the document and shut down the computer.
Fearing the noise from his wheelchair might wake Hope, he transformed it into a reclining chair and closed his eyes.
