Scarlett was so excited that her eyes sparkled at the thought of helping Emperor Brother!
Just as she was watching the live stream, she saw that Noah and Sylvia were looking for part–time jobs at a small shop near her house!
“I’m going to invite Emperor Brother to tutor me right now!”
Scarlett dropped the words and ran out without giving the old lady a chance to stop
her.

Hope could only follow the old lady.
At the shop, a bald man in his fifties was sizing up Sylvia and Noah.
“You two want to stay for a part–time job together? The man can deliver water, rice, and gas.”
His eyes lingered on Sylvia. “The woman can stay to look after the shop, clean, and help me sort the warehouse.”
The man, named Jimmy, was the shop
owner. He had a sinister look and a sneaky demeanor.

Sylvia felt disgusted by his gaze and clolung to Noah’s arm.
“Brother, I don’t want to be separated fromm you.””
She definitely didn’t want to work in this s creepy old man’s warehouse.
It was bound to be dark and stuffy, and there e might even be rats and cockroaches.
Noah didn’t want to be separated either. “We only want to work as shop assistants together, or we won’t take the job.”
Jimmy immediately frowned. “Take it or leave it.”
Sylvia softly reminded him, “Boss, my brother is a big star. Even if he does nothing in the shop, he’ll attract a lot of fans.””

But Sylvia tugged at his sleeve. “Brother, what about me?”

The more she acted understanding, the softer Noah’s heart became.
He held Sylvia’s hand and said to Scarlett, “I’m sorry, I can’t leave my sister behind.”
“You’re my fan, right?” He pulled out a pen from his pocket. “Thank you for your kind offer. This pen has been with me for many years. I’m giving it to you.”
He was warm and gentle, using his charm to its fullest.
