She worked a lot that day. They were busy, with accident after accident and injury after injury. Her thirst tortured her even more, but she tried to ignore it. After a little break, she went to their break room and sat on the couch. She was not alone in the room, so she grabbed a newspaper. She tried to listen to what she was reading, but her sophisticated hearing focused on the conversation between two surgeons.
They discussed the day and said they had never had a busy day like that.
“Maybe the full moon has indeed an effect on the people,” one of them said.
Olivia tried to focus on what she was ready for, but hearing this sentence, her eyes widened. She put the newspaper down, and she just frowned. “Full moon she repeated the two words in her head. That was probably the reason for Asher’s absence.

And she felt guilty because of last night as well.

There was still no news from Asher, and their colleagues started to worry, Olivia heard numerous doctors say that Asher had never done this before. He did not even ring the hospital, and they found that odd.
“Clair, please make sure someone is checking on him. I am worried. As far as I know, he lives alone, and I don’t want him to be on the news. If you know what I mean.” She said, What she meant was horrible to think of. However, what they would find there and what that creature would do to them was also horrific, and that would have been in the news for sure, su Olivia had a thought.
Olivia waited for Clair and Dr. Know to finish the conversation, then she did not think; she just stopped Dr. Knox when she was about to leave.

She did not wonder why the address was far from the busy town. It was a house on vast land, and the next house was visible from afar. The house was dark, and the doors and windows were locked with bars, Olivia sighed and broke the padlock off the door with a simple move. When she did that, the beast she suspected was in there started growling, and as soon as she opened the door, it started barking, but she felt no fear.
