Chapter 26
As he walked into the garden, he heard someone whining from afar. First, he stopped and listened. Then, using his wolf senses, he walked towards the sound. He didn’t need to walk too long, though. The omega boy that Delta beat up was lying on the ground in his blood.
Asher ran there and got on his knees next to him. The boy turned his head to look at him, but he whined louder in fear instead of being happy. He was worried that he would harm him more,
“No, don’t be scared of me. I am trying to help you.” Asher reassured him quickly, as he understood the boy thought that, as an Alpha, he would hurt him as well.
“Let me check on you.” Asher tried to talk to the boy kindly, showing he didn’t want to harm him. Finally, the boy stopped crying and let Asher check his bones.
“Your leg is fractured, mate. I will take you to the hospital.” He lifted the small–bodied boy and carried him straight to the building. When the pack doctor saw them, he shook his head.
“He is always here. There is no point in keeping him here. He will be dead soon.” He told Asher, who looked at him, appalled.
“Are you a doctor?” The doctor looked at him as if he had just realized he was talking to an Alpha.
am a doctor, but…….”
“Just give a bed to him, and let me help him,” Asher commanded. The doctor nodded and pointed to a bed.
“There, Alpha, you can put him that bed.”
The bed could be pushed, and this time, the doctor helped Asher to find the examination room.
Asher pushed the bed like he was at work, getting a patient after an accident. As soon as they arrived at the room, he tore the boy’s clothes, and he cleaned his wounds first. He couldn’t believe how many scars he had from the past. Asher couldn’t imagine the pain that this hoy goes through each day. Probably, his entire body was acting all the time because of his bones, which weren’t treated soon after they fractured. At some point, the deformations were visible through his skin.
The doctor appeared shortly, and he helped him. Asher moved the broken bones hack to their places and bandaged the boy’s leg, leaving it to heal. He wondered if he should plaster rast it, but werewolves‘ bones healed much quicker than humans‘, so he hoped he would be fine without it. Finally, when they finished, they dressed him, and Aslier covered him,
“You can leave now,” Asher commanded the doctor, who nodded only and left.
The boy lay cautionless and speechless. Asher was aware of a pack’s system, but he never saw someone more potent to harm a weak one so badly. His father always took these things seriously, and he protected the omegas. The other pack members have never liked them, but at least they didn’t dare hurt them. Since his father got ill, and he mostly spent his time in his room, the pack had changed a lot, and these changes weren’t good. Seeing the boy, he felt remorse. If he had stayed here, he would have led the pack now, and this kind of thing would never have happened, but he chase his comfort; therefore, if he would say something now, no one would take him seriously. He thought they might make a grody and plan to kill or remove him from the Alpha role. Finally, Asher sighed
“Are you in
you in pain?” Asher asked. The boy nodded without looking at him. Asher stood up, took a syringe, and injected something into the boy’s vein.
“It will be better soon. Why do they do this to you all the time? Asher frowned and asked, and the bay looked at him like he didn’t understand the question. Wasn’t it obvious? he thought. Finally, he shrugged his shoulders a little.
“I am an Omega. They do whatever they want to do to me.” He whispered,
