Being alone in a situation like this wouldn’t help anyone. And if this really was a natural disaster, then humans were far too small to fight against it. Her chances of survival would be even slimmer. Aurora stood beside her younger self, watching closely. Her own face at this moment was unreadable. She remembered clearly–her younger self had never actually joined the others. In the end, they’d been separated because the disaster came far too fast. Just as the younger Aurora was about to step forward, the ground suddenly split open with a deafening crack, tearing her away from the other four students. Her eyes widened in shock as she forced herself to stay calm and think quickly about what to do next. But nature gave her no time–there was no chance to change anything.
