Chapter 24
Outside, the Arnold family’s gate was opened.
Kevin’s eyes lit up, thinking that Lindsey was willing to come out and see him, so he couldn’t help but walk closer. However, it turned out to be a
man who came out.
Darnell raised his umbrella, his eyes sharp and fierce like a wolf, staring at Kevin with intensity. In his mind, all he could see were images of his sister being mistreated.
“Hello, I wanted to find…”
“Bang!”
Kevin had just finished speaking when Darnell suddenly kicked him to the ground. He held his chest, feeling caught off guard.
I didn’t realize it was the singer who was trending topic until I saw Darnell’s face, Lena’s current brother.
“I know you,” Kevin said, standing up with hope in his heart. “I’m here to see your sister, I’m your brother–in–law. Can you please let Lena come out
and see me?”
No sooner had he finished speaking than he was punched again.
Darnell dropped the umbrella, bent down and beat Kevin, then grabbed his collar, saying, “You’re not qualified to be my brother–in–law. My sister has nothing to do with you anymore. Get out of here now!”
After saying that, he threw the person to the ground.

Kevin lay on the ground with a swollen face, the blood on his face washed away by the rain, looking completely disheveled.

But he still didn’t give up, reaching out and grabbing Darnell’s pant leg, saying, “No, there is a misunderstanding between me and your sister. I finally found out she is still alive, please let me see her.”
“Let go, Darnell sneered at the person at his feet.”
Refusing to let go of Kevin, he immediately picked up the umbrella next to him, folded it in half, and then mercilessly stabbed the sharp end into Kevin’s hand.
“Ah! The person screamed in agony and immediately let go of their hand.”
Shortly after, a group of bodyguards emerged and pulled the writhing Kevin up from the ground.
Darnell glanced at him and said, “Take him away from me, don’t dirty the Arnold family’s doorstep.” Then he walked into the house without looking
back.
After that night, Kevin never showed up again.
Lindsey stayed at home for a few days, thinking that he had suffered enough and gave up. In the afternoon, he went out to keep his appointment.
In the coffee shop, Emanuel had already arrived.
He sat by the French window, every gesture and movement showing the nobility of a noble family, even passersby couldn’t help but stare at him. But she made a big fool of herself abroad.
Not only did he treat her like a duck, but he also took advantage of her while drunk. Thinking back to that absurd night, she wished she could find a hole to hide in, her face suddenly turning red with embarrassment.

Chapter 24
If it weren’t for her father, she really didn’t want to come.

Lindsey sat down across from him and nervously smiled, asking, “Mr. Herrera, do you know why you asked me to come?”
Upon hearing this, Emanuel raised his eyes.
A pair of deep starry eyes stared at her closely until she blushed to the roots of her ears, then spoke satisfactorily, “Why are you suddenly so formal? Didn’t you used to call me ‘Eman‘ before?”
This name sounds somewhat familiar. That night, in the midst of passion, she leaned in and hooked her finger under the man’s chin, asking, “What’s your name?”
“Emanuel, the man’s voice was deep and sexy.”
She lowered her head as if bewitched and kissed him, their tongues entwining deeper and deeper. Unable to control herself, she bit his shoulder and called out, “Eman!”
With a sudden cough, Lindsey choked. She hurriedly wiped the coffee stains, unable to shake off those restless images in her mind.
Seeing this, Emanuel smiled and picked up a napkin to wipe the corners of her mouth. As he glanced up, he noticed someone outside the window watching them.
Lindsey also noticed and turned her head to look.
It was Kevin…
