I was somewhat moved by what he said at that moment.
But, I immediately turned off the live stream and shut off all thoughts.
I had kept Geoffrey outside for an entire day. He stood there from morning till night, seemingly trying to prove his sincerity.
“Lina, I don’t want a divorce! If you want to be the company’s president, I’ll give it to you. I don’t need those things. I make money just so we can live a better life!”
“I’ll do whatever you want with Tammi. Tomorrow, I’ll go to the police and expose her company’s tax evasion. I can have her sent to jail, and I’ll give the shareholders an

explanation! She’ll pay the price!”
I hesitated, slightly moved.
But I just couldn’t accept that he had a child with another woman.
“Go fall in love with whoever you want! If you really want to prove it, you should take action!”
After saying that, I immediately blocked all his contacts, muted my phone, and went back to sleep.
When I woke up again, it was already 9 AM.
There were countless missed calls on my phone, some from the company and some from unknown numbers.
I returned the call to the company’s number,

and the person asked, “Mrs. Cantrell, did you get the news? Geoffrey really went to the police!”
I was a bit stunned, and my mood was somewhat mixed. I thought he was lying.
But whether what he said was true or not, it all depended on what he did next.
I responded, “Don’t worry. He won’t be able to cause any big waves.”
If Geoffrey was telling the truth, then the next step would be for him to work with the police to get Tammi out of the company.
During Geoffrey’s live stream that day, Tammi had been commenting in the chat, claiming to report the company for tax evasion, trying to deal a blow to the company’s tax situation and force me to

What she didn’t know was that the
documents she had were financial
statements from when she worked as vice president.
She had schemed to pocket a few points of the company’s tax savings by diverting the money into her own pocket.
Tammi thought she could deceive everyone with her trick, transferring funds from my company to her own.
What she didn’t realize was that even though I was at home preparing for pregnancy, the company’s financial flow was reported to me monthly by a dedicated person.
In the past, I turned a blind eye and didn’t act against those people. I thought they were

helping the company make money, and a little bit of theft didn’t matter.
But now that she had pushed me to this point, there was no reason for me to stop her.
Thinking about it, I added,
“You should also submit the evidence of Tammi accepting bribes and embezzling money during her time as vice president and funneling it into her own small company. We can’t just stay silent when the police come asking.”
“What about the president?”
“Let’s see his sincerity. If he can really do all of this, I might be willing to give him a chance to explain.”
