That afternoon, I received a call from the police. They had completed their investigation, and our company had been cleared of any tax evasion suspicions.
They also invited us to join the tax bureau for a live–streamed public education event.
The theme was, promoting the honor of paying taxes and fighting against tax evasion.
The live stream was scheduled for a week later. During this time, Tammi continued to harass me, and I had my lawyer file a lawsuit.
Along with the divorce case and charges of bribery and embezzlement, I sent her

straight to court.
When Tammi received the lawyer’s letter, she was furious.
She even started another live stream to stir up emotions among viewers.
She held up the agreements, angrily cursing at the camera,
“Lina is an ungrateful woman! Since we married five years ago, it’s been me and Mr. Cantrell working hard at the company, supporting the president. She’s been at home living in luxury.”

Last time, I was busy with a meeting and didn’t pay much attention to the chat.
Today, I made sure to look, and I noticed many familiar usernames speaking,
“I really feel sorry for Mr. Cantrell. I’ve worked at the company for over two years and I’ve never seen Lina! She’s supposed to be the legal representative? Who believes that?”
“Yeah, Mr. Cantrell is always busy at the company, sometimes working late into the night. Lina has never shown up. What has

“Mr. Cantrell is so pitiful, getting kicked out like this. Maybe Lina forced him to sign those agreements!”
“Lina just stays home doing laundry and cooking. How could she run a company? Without Mr. Cantrell, there would be no company today! We won’t accept this!”
Interestingly, soon a pinned message appeared, slapping everyone in the face with a shining hot comment on top.
Geoffrey, fighting alone, “What are you all talking about? Without my wife, none of these

Seeing Geoffrey’s comment, I was still angry,

but I couldn’t help but chuckle.
He was still the same, always protecting me
without a care…
But what if this was all a show?
Could he really do this?
Should I believe you?
After all, Tammi’s pregnancy is real, and there’s no solid evidence yet…
I then uploaded the video from five years ago, the one where Geoffrey himself signed the agreement.
He had insisted on recording it when he proposed, saying it would be a memento for the future.

In the video, Geoffrey is on one knee, holding roses and a ring.
After I agreed to the proposal, he took out the agreements and sincerely assured me.
He said that I was the only one in his life and that he would never betray me.
Signing the agreement was to make me feel secure, to show me that he loved me, not my
money.
“Geoffrey, I’m giving you a chance to prove it.” I captioned the video on the forum.
If he wasn’t after money, why would he beg so humbly to stay with me for so long?
If this is real, if he truly loves me, then I’ll accept it. I’d be happy to marry such a husband.
