Chapter 5
I’ve been secretly spying for days now, and I’ll have to find more evidence before Vivian is expelled from the pack before I can give Alpha Keal a punch. Finally I find a clue–
Outside the Pack’s council hall, the night was deep.
I leaned against a marble pillar, my gray eyes glinting coldly in the shadows. I watched as Vivian strode into a side chamber, another Beta subordinate of Alpha Keal, Beta Elio, trailing behind.
“Is everything ready?” Vivian’s voice was hushed but impatient.
Beta Elio pulled out a file. “The forged pregnancy report and bloodline documents

are here. Once the council approves themm tomorrow, you’ll be the rightful next Luna.”
Vivian smirked. “That crippled white wolf will ffinally be gone-”
“Will she?”
A voice, cold as death, cut through the air. I stepped into the light, my silver–white lashes catching the moonlight.
Vivian’s face drained of color. “You–how are you here?”
I smiled. “To watch the show.” I shifted slightly, revealing Alpha Keall standing behind me, his expression stormy.
Inside the chamber, silence fell like a

guillotine.
Alpha Keal snatched the documents, his knuckles white. “Forged lineage papers? Vivian, you’ve got nerve.”
Vivian grabbed his arm frantically. “Alpha Keal, let me explain! This was all Beta Elio’s idea–he-”
Beta Elio’s head jerked up. “You ordered me to do it! You said faking a pregnancy would
“Silence!” Vivian raised her hand to strike him, but Alpha Keal caught her wrist.
“Enough.” Alpha Keal’s voice was glacial. “From today, expelling Vivian from the Pack in no time. She is exiled from the Pack.”
Vivian’s pupils shrank to pinpricks. “You

can’t do this! After everything I’ve done for you!”
Alpha Keal sneered. “Including deceiving your Alpha?” He turned to me, his tone softening unnaturally. “Selene, I overlooked this-”
“Overlooked?” I interrupted. I stepped forward, yanking Vivian’s coat open- revealing a flat, unmarked stomach.
“This is your so–called ‘pregnancy‘?” my whisper sent chills down every spine in the
room.
In the corridor, two warriors dragged Vivian
away.
“Let me go! Alpha Keal! Alpha Keal!” Vivian

thrashed, her once–perfect curls now tangled across her face. “You promised to protect me forever!”
Alpha Keal didn’t move.
I looked down at her from the steps. “You know, exiled Rogue don’t survive over three months.” She tilted her head. “Especially ones with as many enemies as you.”
Vivian suddenly laughed wildly. “You think you’ve won? Alpha Keal doesn’t love anyone! The way he treated me today–tomorrow, it’ll be you!
“Take her away” Alpha Keal commanded coldly.
As Vivian’s screams faded, Alpha Keal faced me. “Are you satisfied now?”

I adjusted my sleeve. “Satisfied? My eyes, my legs, my pup… You think this is enough?”
Alpha Keal reached for me but froze at the sight of my gray eyes. “Give me a chance to make it right.”
“Fine.” my smile was razor–thin. “I want your to publicly admit that you were blind.”
Alpha Keal’s face twisted. “Must your humiliate me like this?”
“Humiliate?” I turned toward the moonlight. “This is only the beginning, my ‘dear‘ Alpha.”
