Chapter 7
The cold wind whistled, and the snowy Wolf pack’s territory was enveloped in the silvery morning light. I wrapped my fur cloak tightly around me and looked at the primitive tribe that was nothing like the urban wolves.
“Your eyes need regular treatment.” A warm male voice came from behind. Healer Lucian Rowe approaches, herb in hand, amber pupils behind gold glasses with professional scrutiny.
I took a half step back. “I don’t need

The moment the herb was applied to my

eyes, I gasped in pain.
“Bear with me.” Healer Lucian’s movements were suddenly lightened. “The snow lilies here can hurt your eyes.”
I looked up warily. “How did you know my eyes hurt?”
Healer Lucian smiles. “Because I’m Healer.”
Meanwhile, in the garbage dump on the edge of the city, putridity reeks. Alpha Keal drags his injured hind legs through the rubble for food, his once glossy fur stained.
“Look who it is.” Three stray wolves‘ surrounded, “This is not the noble Lord Alpha?”
Alpha Keal bares his fangs. “Get out of here.”

“Pretty fierce?” The leading stray Wolf kicked him in the wound, “You are a Worrior now,not Alpha any more!”
The pain caused Alpha Keal to fall to his knees and vaguely saw a familiar figure in the distance – Vivian was carrying stones in chains, his once delicate face covered with stains.
“Hey! What are you looking at?” The supervisor cracked Vivian’s back with a whip, “Does a Rogue deserve a rest?”
Vivian looked up and made eye contact with Alpha Keal. Both eyes flashed with resentment and despair.
“You want asylum?” Alpha Magnus of the Snowfield Pack sneers from his throne of bone. “Prove your worth.”

I looked straight into those ice–blue eyes. “I can teach you urban Wolf tactics.”
“We don’t need the weak.” Alpha Magnus suddenly blew up and punched me in the face
I instinctively sidestepped, my gray eyes flashing. Before anyone knew it, my index and middle fingers were around Alpha Magnus’s throat.
The chamber was silent.
“Interesting.” Alpha Magnus smiled slowly. “Starting tomorrow, you will train our Gamma team.”
I looks south: “I want them to live to see me
take it all back.”
Late at night in the slum, Vivian crouched in

the corner of the iron cage. She looked up in horror at the sound of footsteps.
“Remember me?” Beta Elio crouched down, keys clanking in his hands. “Now do you know what happens when you’re on the wrong side?”
Vivian threw herself over the railing, “Help me! I can get you Alpha Keal’s secret account!”
“It’s too late.” Beta Elio laughed maliciously. “But… Alpha Damien Black is very interested in you.” He leaned over to reveal Alpha Damien Black in the shadows.
Alpha Damien, the leader of the Rebellion Pack, was once part of the Snow Pack and was expelled from the Snow Pack due to his evil deeds, and he has been waiting for revenge to annex the Snow Pack’s territory.

Hearing that the down–and–out white wolf went to the Snow Pack, he couldn’t wait. He had to get his hands on the Snow Pack before it became stronger.
The Alpha Damien Black of Rebellion Pack ran his finger across Vivian’s cheek: “Want revenge? I just need… A bitch who knows her enemy.”
Two months later.
“Your eyes are bleeding.” Healer Lucian presses down on the struggling me, “If you don’t rest, you’ll go blind!”
I pushed him away. “Alpha Magnus promised to send troops to help me tomorrow.”
“Are you crazy?” Healer Lucian snatches the map from my hand, “Alpha Damien’s rebels

are gathering, this is to die!”
“Then die together.” I coughed violently and blood oozed from my silver hair.
Healer Lucian was silent for a moment, then suddenly took out the spike necklace around. his neck: “My father’s last gift to the White Wolf.” The pendant opened to reveal an amulet. “It will bless you!”
I don’t answer. “Why help me?”
“Because you are so much like my sister, she died of illness at an early age,and I miss her so much.” Healer Lucian takes off his glasses with a warm smile.
Outside the window, the snowstorm was getting worse.
