As he stood, his toned physique came into view. His abdominal muscles, chiseled and defined, were mesmerizing to anyone who saw him.
Phoebe’s mind suddenly flashed back to last night. She quickly looked away and said coldly, “Are you a pervert?!”
Declan’s eyes glinted with amusement. In a low voice, he teased, “You already saw me naked last night. Isn’t it a little late to be shy now?”
“Get lost!” Phoebe bellowed, pulling the blanket over her head.
Declan didn’t push further. As he got dressed, he said, “I ordered some clothes for you. They should be here soon. I have a meeting later. Let’s have dinner together tonight.”
“I’m busy!”
“I’ll pick you up.”
Phoebe didn’t respond. Only after the room fell silent again did she lift the blanket and sigh in frustration.
If she had known what would happen last night, she never would have gone back for her phone. Now, it seemed even less likely that Declan would agree to the divorce.
She grabbed her phone from the bedside table and dialed a number. “Find out who was in Private Room 5 on the eighth floor of Regal Palace last night,” she ordered.
After that, she put her phone down and went to the bathroom for a shower. Seeing the marks all over her body, she cursed Declan under her breath.
Not long after her shower, the clothes Declan ordered arrived–underwear included. She put them on and realized they fit perfectly, making her expression darken.
Then she called Cora to let her know she wouldn’t be coming to the office that day and left Regal Palace.
Meanwhile, on the way to the office, Patrick told Declan who had drugged Phoebe last night. He said, “Mr. Richardson, the man who drugged Ms. Greene last night is named Alaric Donovan.
“He has a lot of influence in the northern part of the city and holds shares in many entertainment venues. He made his fortune through some shady businesses and has connections on both sides of the law.”
Declan frowned and said sternly, “Make sure he disappears from Roseberg by the end of the day.”
“Understood.”
Cora, in her office at Miracle Youth, hesitated for a long time before finally calling Scott.
“What do you want?!” Scott sounded impatient. “Cora, we’re already broken up. Stop being so clingy–it’s really annoying.”
Cora smirked disdainfully. “Relax, I have no interest in unfaithful scumbags. I only called because I left my dress in your car last night. I want it back.”
“I’ll have my assistant send it over,” Scott replied.

Not wanting to waste another word, Cora hung up.
Scott instructed his secretary to retrieve the dress from his car and deliver it. Just as the secretary got the dress and was about to leave, she ran into Bianca, who had come to see Scott.
Bianca immediately recognized the dress as Heart’s Whisper, and her eyes lit up with excitement. She stepped forward, blocking the secretary’s way, and asked, “Is this the surprise Scott got for me?!”
Scott had told Bianca earlier that he had something special for her that day.
Embarrassed, the secretary explained, “Ms. Jennings, this dress belongs to Ms. Wood. Mr. Wright asked me to return it to her.”
Bianca’s smile froze as jealousy and anger flickered in her eyes. “Scott bought this dress, didn’t he?”
The secretary shook her head. “I’m not sure.”
“Give it to me. I’ll take it to him myself,” said Bianca.

She liked the dress and had no intention of giving it back to Cora, regardless of whether Scott bought it or not. She wanted Cora to understand that both the dress and Scott belonged to her.
The secretary looked troubled. “Ms. Jennings, this is Mr. Wright’s order. I-”
Bianca interrupted her and said coldly, “Don’t worry. If anything happens, I’ll take responsibility.” With that, she snatched the dress and strode into the Wright Group.
Watching her leave, the secretary sighed in frustration, thinking, ‘Mr. Wright’s new girlfriend seems like a handful. Work is only going to get harder from now on.
By noon, Cora still hadn’t received her dress. Impatient, she called Scott again. “Where’s my dress?!”
