Upon seeing her calm demeanor, as if she was certain he wouldn’t find anything, Declan’s lips tightened, and a cold glint flashed in his eyes.
Phoebe, however, had lost patience with continuing to argue with him. “You came to my room in the middle of the night just to ask me this nonsense?”
Her eyes were full of displeasure and frustration. Declan’s gaze darkened a little. “I’ve canceled my previous room.”
Phoebe’s tone was indifferent. “So what?”
“I’ll be sleeping here with you tonight,” Declan said.
Phoebe almost laughed in anger, thinking to herself, ‘How can he calmly say that with the state our relationship is in?
“Since you want to stay here, I’ll just go and book another room,” Phoebe said.
Seeing Phoebe grab her coat and head for the door, Declan couldn’t hold back any longer. “Phoebe, my patience has limits. You’re sleeping in the same room with me tonight.”
Phoebe glanced back at him. “There’s nothing that must happen.”
She quickly walked toward the door. Just as she opened it, a large hand suddenly reached out from behind and slammed the door shut.
The next moment, Phoebe was lifted off the ground.
Her eyes burned with anger as she gritted her teeth. “Declan, if you’re going crazy, go to a hospital and get treatment. I’m not a doctor. I can’t treat insanity.”
Declan acted as if he hadn’t heard her. He threw her onto the bed and immediately lay down beside her, pulling her into his
arms.
“Sleep,” he said, then actually closed his eyes and tried to sleep, infuriating Phoebe even more.
“Let go of me.” Phoebe struggled in his arms, but the hand gripping her waist was like an unbreakable wall, no matter how hard she tried.
Before long, Phoebe noticed Declan’s gaze on her had become even more intense.
Her anger grew, and she gritted her teeth. “Pervert! Bastard!”
“If you don’t want to sleep, we can do something else,” he said.
Seeing the desire flickering in his eyes, Phoebe froze for a moment, and sure enough, she didn’t move again.
In the end, Phoebe didn’t know how she fell asleep, but when she woke up, the sun had already risen.
Seeing that Declan was still holding her in the same position as the night before, she frowned, reached out, and shook him, impatiently saying, “Can you let go now?”
Declan opened his eyes. Though it was clear he had just woken up, his eyes were already clear.
He tightened his hold around Phoebe’s waist and, in a hoarse voice, said, “Sleep a little longer.”
“If you want to sleep, sleep on your own. I need to get up. Let go.” She pushed Declan, and this time he didn’t force her but released his grip.

Phoebe got up and washed her face. By the time she finished, Declan had also gotten up. “Let’s have breakfast together.”
Phoebe didn’t respond and continued packing her things.
Once Declan entered the bathroom, Phoebe grabbed her bag and left.
As soon as she opened the door, she saw Jennifer standing outside, her face a little dark
Phoebe didn’t pay her any attention and walked past her toward the elevator.
After a few steps, Jennifer’s cold voice came from behind. “Phoebe, don’t think you’ve won. Deck loves me.”
Perhaps fearing Declan might hear, Jennifer deliberately lowered her voice.
Phoebe didn’t stop, showing no interest in what Jennifer said.
Who Declan loved had nothing to do with her, as long as he got a divorce from her as quickly as possible.
Phoebe returned to the villa, took a shower, and planned to order takeout and catch up on sleep.
What she didn’t expect was that Declan came along with the delivery.

Upon seeing Declan’s dark face, Phoebe’s mood didn’t improve either. “Declan, you’re really relentless. I’ve kept my distance from you, and you still won’t leave me alone?”
Declan looked at her coldly. “Come back with me.”
He had originally planned to buy this villa, but Mason had refused to let it go.
Phoebe was getting impatient. “I’m not going back with you. Please leave now, or I’ll call the police.”
To her surprise, Declan raised an eyebrow and sneered. “Alright, I’ll see if the police care about you living in another man’s villa.”
