Chapter 15
Ashlee replied: “Okay.”
Trevon:“Ashlee, what’s wrong with you? To welcome you back, Sanaa even made a cake herself for you! How could you make all of us wait for you like that? What are you doing out there?”
Ashlee:“There’s nothing wrong with me. But there’s something wrong with your head.”
Sanaa:“Ashlee, where are you? Are you really not coming back?”
Ashlee:“Don’t worry. Even if I don’t go back, I can still send you to jail.”
After replying to each of their messages, Ashlee blacklisted all of them.
What she did was very cool, and she felt very content now.
Her four brothers wanted her to go home all because of Sanaa. They were also afraid of Ashlee speaking ill of the Spencer family outside.
Perhaps there was also a little bit of guilt in their hearts.
However, this sense of guilt would be gone as soon as Ashlee returned to the Spencer family. In their eyes, they were already kind enough to allow Ashlee to come back.
Also, they thought that it was only natural for Ashlee to take the blame for Sanaa.
It was clearly Sanaa who intentionally pushed her classmate down the stairs. But those four men did not believe it, thinking that Sanaa did it unintentionally.
After all, Sanaa was such a “kind” girl in their eyes, and they couldn’t bear to let her suffer.
Ashlee, who was raised outside and not close to them, was definitely much less important than Sanaa, who was their sister and had grown up with them since childhood.
As for Sanaa, she definitely wished Ashlee would never go back.
She saw Ashlee as a threat. After all, Ashlee was the real daughter of the Spencer family.
Ashlee’s parents felt that Ashlee was not close to them as they had been separated for so many years.
And in their eyes, Sanaa was the daughter they had been raising all these years. Of course, they cared about Sanaa more.
Moreover, Ashlee grew up in a poor family. So naturally, she was inferior to Sanaa, who had taken numerous extra classes since childhood and excelled in everything.
After Ashlee finished her breakfast, Zane showed up.
