Chapter 8
Ashlee was very satisfied. Closing the box, she asked, “Where is the patient
“Wait! Are you really going to let her treat Mom? Are you crazy?” Byron stepped out, asking in disbelief.
Ashlee glanced at him and said calmly, “I said I can cure her.”
There were still some people who wanted to say something to stop her, but a voice suddenly interrupted them.
“Miss, you look so confident. But what if you can’t cure it?”
The voice was clear and melodious, but the words made Ashlee feel that this person sounded like a playboy.
As the man stepped into the room, his tall and upright figure exuded a unique sense of male hormones.
He appeared to be in his early twenties, dressed in a well–tailored high–end suit. His facial features were distinct, and his face looked very handsome.
His left ear was adorned with a metallic earring, making him look rebellious and flamboyant.
And behind him, more than ten bodyguards stood respectfully on both sides, each exuding an aura that warned strangers to stay away.
Ashlee raised her eyebrows slightly when she saw this.
She commented in her heart, “His figure is quite perfect.
“And his handsome face…
A hot guy.”
When Javier Gibson showed up, the expressions on the faces of the Lloyds present changed, even carrying a hint of flattery when they looked at
him.
Meanwhile, a few young people took a few steps away from him out of fear.
Juliette, Javier greeted his aunt with a smile.
Javier? What brings you here?” Juliette was a bit surprised.
Javier didn’t respond. Instead, he looked down at Ashlee with a cold gaze.“Miss, you haven’t answered my question yet.”
Ashiee tugged at the corner of her mouth and said, “If I cure Madam Lloyd, you’ll call me Boss. And if I can’t, I’ll call you Boss. What do you say?” Curing Matilda was a deal between Ashlee and Juliette.
Ashlee had promised it from the beginning.
Ashlee was already annoyed because of this “work“. And now, it had become even more annoying.
Javier felt speechless.
Staring at Ashlee’s face, he frowned slightly, and a hint of danger appeared in his eyes.
