Chapter 30 Let Her Go
He had been observing her expression, and the eager look on her face didn’t seem fake at all.
Just as he hesitated, the door suddenly slammed.
“Benson, I know you’re in there. Open the door now!”
The sharp, forceful voice made Benson turn around suddenly.
“Benson, it’s Ms. Sienna.”
It was Sienna!
Eleanor narrowed her eyes. She hadn’t expected Sienna to show up here.
“Benson, you can’t touch her! Open the door now!”
Sienna’s words made Eleanor curl her lips in amusement.
What’s this all about? Is Sienna really here to save me?
Benson hadn’t expected Sienna to come here to make him release Eleanor.
He gave a silent nod to one of the men by the door, who immediately opened it.
Sienna rushed in, out of breath. When she saw Eleanor unharmed, her emotions were complicated, uncertain whether to feel disappointed or relieved.
“Ms. Sienna, what brings you here?” Benson’s voice softened, and even the fierce scar on his face seemed less menacing.
Sienna stared at Eleanor, conflicted.
If it had been before, she would’ve been happy to see Eleanor suffering, but Gabriel had given her an ultimatum.
As long as Eleanor returned home unharmed, Gabriel would divorce her.
This time, she had to make sure Eleanor was safe.
“Let her go. I’ll talk to my
dad.”
Sienna’s words made Benson hesitate. He remembered how much Sienna disliked Eleanor.
“Ms. Sienna…”
“Don’t you listen to what I say?” Sienna interrupted him impatiently.
She grabbed the knife from Benson’s hand, walked to Eleanor, and began cutting the ropes, one by one.
When she reached the last rope, she hesitated for a moment, then clenched her teeth and cut it too.
“Let’s go.” Sienna pushed Eleanor.
Eleanor pressed her lips together and narrowed her eyes at her. “I thought you’d help them, but…”
Even though Sienna had helped her, she had still been helping her dad.
“Your dad is committing a crime.”
Sienna wasn’t moved, smiling sweetly. “Yes, a crime. You can always call the police.”
Her light, casual words reminded Eleanor of the day of Margaret’s funeral.
That day, Sienna had smiled just as sweetly, and with a light “You can call the police,” had almost made Eleanor faint with
anger.

Eleanor believed that even if she did call the police, the Sullivan family would find a way to handle it.
“Sienna, do
you think you can escape the law forever?”
Where there was light, there was darkness as well, but darkness could never overpower the light.
One day, light would shine through all the darkness.
At that moment, an alarm sounded inside the house.
Benson immediately stood up, alert. “Someone’s here.”
There was an electric fence outside, so if anyone else entered, the alarm would go off
Sienna’s face darkened as she opened the nearby surveillance monitor.
On the screen, a man in black stood tall, like a strong pine tree.
He looked up, his deep eyes cold and sharp.
“Gabe…” Sienna gasped, her face pale as she hurriedly shut off the monitor.
Eleanor frowned.
Why is Gabriel here?
She looked toward the door and was about to step outside when she saw Sienna grab a cigarette from the table, light it, and take a drag.
“Ms. Sienna!” Benson exclaimed in shock.
Sienna supported herself on the table, forcing a smile as she spoke to Benson, “You all need to leave now!”
Outside the villa, the wind rustled, and the peaceful atmosphere was thick with tension.
Gabriel looked up at the electric fence and made a phone call.
Chadwick’s lazy voice came through. “Gabriel, it’s you. Are you looking for me?”
His calm words sounded like a casual chat.
