“You always said you liked me being obedient, but my cousin doesn’t seem to fit your criteria for a partner.”
“Maybe doing challenging things feels more rewarding.”
After laying everything out, he became much more honest.
“It might just be a man’s base instinct. When you emphasized so strongly not to add her on SnapChat, it immediately sparked my curiosity. Later, I could have not added her, but I still did.”
Nonsense. I said that on purpose to make you add her quickly.

“Considering we’ve been dating for almost half a year, let me warn you: none of the boyfriends my sister stole from me lasted more than a week. She says once she gets them, it’s no longer interesting.”

Jack’s brow furrowed slightly. He stepped forward and grabbed my hand, squeezing it tightly.
“Lily, I don’t know why, but you always give me the feeling that you’re trying to push me towards your sister.”
My heart skipped a beat, but I didn’t show it on my face. “You must be feeling wrong. Is there anyone who hopes to be cheated on? Do you know how many people in the family are laughing at me every day? My mom even blocked me because of you.”
He stared at me for a long time before letting go of my hand and saying, “You’d better not show your fox tail. Don’t make me find you interesting.”
