Upon hearing Nina’s words, I stood frozen.
I never imagined that Zachary would casually hand over my fate to a stranger. He trampled over my love for him just like that.
At this moment, I didn’t know whether to laugh at my own foolishness for not seeing through him or to laugh at him for his
blind trust in Nina. He had actually handed her power over my life and death.
Zachary stopped Nina and tenderly caressed her cheek. “Enough, I haven’t said anything. Why hurt yourself like this? Sarah
would never do this. Who did you learn this from?”
Mentioning me caused Zachary to pause for a moment.
Nina was just as shocked. She never expected to hear anything good about me from Zachary.

With the key now missing, Zachary turned to Bobby. “Get the tech team here, and also bring some saws.

Zachary first turned to the technicians. “Is there any way to open this tank without the key?”
The technicians looked at each other, then shook their heads. Only the key could open the tank, after all.
Zachary pursed his lips, then turned to the others. “Go ahead and cut the tank open.
One of the technicians spoke up. “Mr. Finch, this tank was modified and is still in the experimental stage. You can’t just destroy our work.”
