“I’m not leaving! I want to be here to see her at her worst! was on my knees begging her to save Maddison, but she didn’t care, did she?!” Cameron growled. “So now, I want her groveling in tears, or she’ll be in fall!”
1 shoved the door open with a shrill snicker. “Groveling in tears? You mean like when someone dies in a movie and someone else falls to their knees, crying? Ooh, you really rss Maddison already!”
They jumped at the noise.
Cameron’s expression twisted when she saw it was me. “You! You just can’t stop cursing everyone else to die, can you?!”
“Just reading between the lines, ma’am.”
She couldn’t find the right retort, so she resorted to an attempt to slap my face. I caught her wrist and swung her aside.
“I come here bearing gifts, and this is how you people welcome me?” I questioned sharply.
“Stop your mad antics already, Cameron! Let’s listen to what she has to say!” Harry called out.
Cameron gritted her teeth, made a spitting sound, and returned to the couch.
“What is it?” Harry asked.
I glanced at his office before sitting on the guest couch. “You mean the gifts? They’re on their way. Let’s talk about something else for the time being.”
“About what?”
“Turning yourself in for an arrest,” I replied calmly.
Harry laughed. “You heard that, Cameron? She wants me to turn myself in!”
He suddenly roared, “For absolutely fucking nothing! Fuck off my sight if you’ve got no reason to be here!”
“Not so fast. Have you already forgotten all the crimes you’ve committed over the years as the CEO of Harbringer Inc.? Well, allow me to remind you.
“Transaction fraud, contract fraud, tax evasion, money laundering–just a laundry list of domestic crimes.
“You’ve also committed international fraud. You’ve violated several laws in the countries your company operates in, and now you’re tangled up in international litigation.
“Are you sure you don’t want to turn yourself in?”
Cameron’s fury eventually shifted to panic as she turned to look at Harry.
Harry was better at hiding his anxieties. “Bullshit! Where’s your proof?!”
“Oh, they’re on their way.” My phone rang, so I picked it up. “Hello? Yes, Megyn? We’re on the 16th floor.”
I hung up and turned to Harry. “Your gifts have arrived.
After I became the second–largest shareholder of Harbringer Inc., I began collecting evidence of Harry’s crimes and wrongdoings to counter his schemes against me.
This led me to Megyn Ingraham, who used to work as the deputy CFO of Harbringer Inc. For the crime of refusing to cooperate with Harry’s illegal activities, she had been demoted to a mere service girl.

I also found company suppliers who had fallen victim to Harry’s schemes, as well as business partners he had refused to pay.
Finally, I contacted a corporate lawyer.
A few minutes later, a team of people, each holding a piece of Harry’s crime, marched through his new company. They shouted at him as soon as they entered, threatening to bring in the law.
While the ex–business partners and suppliers shouted, I passed some of Megyn’s documents to the corporate lawyer.
He examined them and concluded, “These are serious crimes against the law. Even if he clears all the taxes he avoided paying, he is still liable to be charged for many other reasons.”
