Chapter 251
“I’ve got a plan, but I need you to follow my instructions.”
“Oh… okay.” Cherry still looked a little confused but got to work anyway.
After work, she handed me a list of contacts for the debt collectors I’d asked for.
I called each one, learning their terms until I found someone willing to do whatever it took to get their money.
My request was simple–I wanted them to collect the 10,400 dollars Cameron owed me.
I didn’t care how they did it. I just wanted my money. To sweeten the deal, I even offered to double their fees if they got the job done.
I knew Cameron couldn’t possibly come up with that much cash, which meant she’d have no choice but to go back to work once the debt collectors backed her into a comer.
If they failed, I’d only be on the hook for their usual service fees.
And just like that, I had the worst kind of people hounding Cameron–for a bargain. It was a trick I’d picked up from Edward and his shameless family.
As expected, Cameron was back at work a few days later.
I had nothing pressing to do when I heard the news, so I headed downstairs for a stroll, using department Invigilation as an excuse.
Lo and behold, there she was–mopping the floor.
She shot me a murderous glare, but I smiled sweetly and said, “Keep up the good work, Cameron. If you’re good at your job, you might even get promoted to managing this whole floor.”
She looked like she was about to cough up blood from sheer rage.
Clenching the mop, she spat, “You’ll pay for this, Taylor! You’re going to rot in hell!”
I smiled, perfectly unbothered. “If this is like the movies and I’m the villain, that just means I’ll live a long, long life.”
Cameron’s face burned red with fury.
By the time I got back to my office, I was in an excellent mood–so much so that my work efficiency skyrocketed.
Just as I was about to clock out, Jean called.
“The Kennedys are in deep shit, Taylor! Did you know?”
“Yeap,” I replied calmly.
“You knew?! How?”
“Because I’m the one who started it.”
Jean was stunned into silence before practically begging me to spill everything.
As such, I told her how I’d promised the Kennedys to keep their secrets if Edward agreed to the annulment
But since he went back on his word, I had no reason to keep mine.

I laid out every detall, and Jean was practically vibrating with excitement as she listened.
“Oh my god, Edith is such an evil bitch! How could she come up with something so sick? If you hadn’t figured it out and drank that spiked drink, only for Edward to take you away, you’d be
I pictured the scenario Jean described and felt a shudder run down my spine.
“Right now, it’s an all–out war between the Kennedys and he. Edward’s fighting the annulment, but I’ve already filed a police report.
“If he still refuses, I’ll let his little sister get arrested and thrown in prison. Either way, I win.”
Jean clapped her hands. “Attagirl! You have to be more ruthless than them–make them regret every single thing they did to you until they’re begging for mercy!
“But listen, you cannot go soft on them. You hear me? That entire family is rotten to the core!”
She took a breath, then added, “Oh, and one more thing–since the Kennedys‘ reputation is in the gutter, all sorts of rumors are flying around.
“Edward’s old sickness is back, isn’t it? People are actually celebrating, saying divine retribution has finally caught up with him.
“But get this–there’s also a rumor that you hexed them as revenge. That’s why everything’s falling apart for them now.”
