How could I possibly let Soren help me while I was still wrapped in a towel, completely undressed?
That would undoubtedly lead straight to the bed.
He sounded like he was chuckling, his amusement clear when he said, “Alright then, take your time. I’ll be in the sunroom on the second–floor terrace.”
“Oh, okay
The last time I was here, he’d shown me around the entire house, so I low exactly where the sunroom was.
It was a designated lounge space, built entirely with reinforced glass. On a clear night, you could lie back and gaze at the vast expanse of the sky.
I glanced at the time and saw it wasn’t too late yet. He must be planning to stargaze
I put on the clothes he’d prepared for me a gray loungewear set.
It was soft, comfortable, and a perfect fit. Even the underwear fit just right.
The faint scent of laundry detergent lingered on the fabric, suggesting Soren had gotten them washed after buying them
I didn’t dare imagine what had been going through his mind while preparing all of this.
Had he, like me, envisioned all sorts of scenarios, indulging in fantasies he couldn’t escape?
After drying my hair, I glanced at my reflection in the mirror.
My face looked fresh and bare without makeup, but the lingering heat from the shower left my skin flushed with a warm glow. Its effect was more alluring than any cosmetics could create.
I wondered if he would tease me about it when he saw me.
Then again, if I stalled any longer, it would almost be time for bed.
After taking a deep breath, I headed to the sunroom.
“You’re here,” Soren remarked.
He had clearly been waiting. The moment he heard my footsteps, he tumed and reached out for me.
He was lounging comfortably in a bean bag chair, a pot of fruit tea on the small side table next to him. The tea was kept warm by an elegant little stove, with pieces of fruit bobbing up and down in the simmering liquid.
I walked over, half complaining, “Are you really drinking that much tea so late at night? You’re going to end up running to the bathroom all night.”
Even so, I stepped forward and placed my hand in his.
His fingers wrapped around mine, warm and firm. With a gentle tug, he pulled me into his arms.
“I’ll drink less then.” He chuckled, tightening his hold around me and lowering his head to breathe deeply against my neck.
“I thought you weren’t coming…” His murmured words brushed against my skin, low and intoxicating

It tickled, and I tilted my head away, laughing. “Stop that, feel like I have ants crawling on me…”
“Yeap. The ants are going to crawl under your clothes, and then… into your heart.” His voice, low and sultry, carried undeniable heat, making it impossible to resist.
I was losing control. My hands Instinctively clutched his arms, trying to push him away.
But before I knew it, I ended up holding him even tighter.
“Soren… Let’s stop messing around. I’m thirsty and would like some tea…” My voice trembled, my heart racing.
I wasn’t trying to push him away on purpose, but we were in the sunroom with transparent walls and glass everywhere..
What if someone saw us? I’d be so embarrassed!
Soren seemed to sense my nervousness. He took another slow inhale against my neck before loosening his hold- just slightly.
With one hand still around music he used the other to pour the tea
I glanced at the table, puzzled. “Why is there only one teacup?”
“Do we really need two?”
His response was so smooth that I momentarily lost my words.
After pouring the tea, he placed the pot back on the stove. Then, he carefully lifted the cup to blow off the steam before bringing it to my lips.
The intimate gesture made my face burn even hotter. “I can drink it myself.”
“It’s alright. I’ll hold it for you. The cup’s hot.” His voice was calm, as though it were the most natural thing in the world.

I had no choice but to take a small sip, letting the warmth spread through me.
It was indeed hot, but it tasted light and refreshing.
